5 Stars to Pink Floyd5 Stars to Amazon4 stars to Sony India for pathetic packagingThe CD itself is made in EU, however the case is most likely made here and the quality is sub par.To actually write a review for a Pink Floyd album would require one to be a meta - human. The CD itself had some minor scratches, but that's fine since it reads well and has no skips.Overall, very happy to have bought it at a discounted price.

Yet Another Stepmotherly Treatment of Legendary Music!
Had ordered The Division Bell with "high hopes" but on receiving the product I was utterly disappointed by the lousyness of the product quality :3 The case doesn't even have a lock to hold the leaflet in place and the whole thing would bend under the pressure of my fingers. I wonder how they retail such substandard materials for such a high price :(An insult to the artists and the buyers. As far as the album is concerned it's out of this world! If you have never listened Pink Floyd then this album might be a great start! My favourite picks - Lost for Words,Marooned,High Hopes and Coming Back to Life!

A Good Album
Frankly I bought this album because of the song "Coming Back To Life". I love this song. But after listening to the complete cd 3-4 times I find the whole album pretty good. Its kind of serene.Go for it!

The Best Pink Floyd album ever
This is the BEST work of Pink Floyd. Many veteran fans will disagree though. Musically, this one surpasses all other Pink Floyd releases. The track "High Hopes" undisputedly underlines it.

Look elsewhere for "real floyd" material!
I'm a lover of hifi & music,I do have artist I " favour" butwouldn't necessarily call mea fan. So I love music withacoustic instruments so, I likeFloyd (a lot of people do!)but, this album is NOT Floyd to myears, it's more "Gilmour" thanFloyd! In saying this as an albumit's not very good, out of 11 tracksthere's probably only a few that areany good & maybe only 1 that is ofquality ("Take it Back"). It's got fillerson it in the way of instrumentals now.Mr Gilmour is an excellent guitarist but, that's no excuse for putting averageinstrumental tracks on your album.Written produced etc. by Gilmour but,he also plays virtually every instrument,I wonder if he made the tea too. Don'tget me wrong, I'm not hating on him but, this is not the "real floyd"!Weather you're a "Floyd" fan or not,do yourself a favour &,look elsewherefor "proper" Floyd material start with,"Echoes" the best of pink floyd this ISBrilliant and a "full fat" FIVE STARS &,the title track from it "Echoes" willillustrate what a brilliant guitar driventrack is.Great as Echoes is sadly,The Division Bellequally isn't!!!Not recommended, try albums writtenby Roger Walters with him on bass. One star for decent sound quality.

The Bell Has Rung, and It Is Good!
Okay, so not everyone's favourite Floyd album and certainly had a Marmite effect with some fans, yet I have to say I find it an absolute work of brilliance and if I could only ever listen to one Pink Floyd album ever again, then it would be The Division Bell. It is just a pure, wholesome album with some great, spiritually uplifting guitar rifts, great catchy songs and the whole experience ebbs and flows as naturally as a river. It feels very consistent throughout, with great guitar solos and good vocals from Gilmour. The fact that we have just celebrated 20 years (94 - 14) since the release of such a classic, suggests that it really is one the great pieces of rock music, throughout the ages, despite the initial criticism. This album should have a home in every rock/pop/music fan's library. Timeless.

I just don't get it?
Another bland, boring exercise in mor rubbish by this so called super band. I'm gutted I wasted my money on not only this but dsotm too and there's also the 2 plus hours of my life I won't get back.Reminds me of dire straights utter junk that I stupidly bought too.I would've been better off buying a Taylor Swift cd instead!

Not as good as the original
I am a Floyd fan and I purchased this "remastered" disc to compare with the 1994 version. In my view it lacks the "presence" of the original. The higher frequencies are more pronounced but lack detail, while the lower frequencies lack definition.Overall I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing this to try and get the 1994 version

Sound quality is excellent
To be able to have a number one in the UK and USA is only achieved by the truly great bands. Division Bell is an intricately woven piece of magic. To the discovery version of this CD, you get quality sound reproduction. You hear every instrument with clarity. To have these 3 guys is enthralling.
