I'm honestly not sure what cards will end up filling this box. Perhaps it will just be the core set and the standalone scenarios they've been occasionally producing. You get a whole lot of box that doesn't get anywhere near filled up, even if you sleeve your cards like me. Honestly though, it's NOT a complaint at all. I'm so used to having to reconfigure game storage for sleeved cards all the time now -its nice not needing to!This serves as both very nice storage for some of your game components, as well as adding extra content to make a second playthrough of your existing campaign worthwhile. The later boxes will be even more worth picking up, as they have far more scenarios to store and organize. This is almost a proof of concept in that regard. The way that it's organized definitely helps with a nice "quick setup" in the future though, so that's a big plus!If you like keeping things neat and tidy, if you like having things organized so that you can just 'pick up and play' in the future, or if you just like neat boxes and additional content... It's worth the $20.

This set adds more interest to the Core Set, to give it more replayability. I would recommend getting a new cycle, rather than getting this.

I've heard positives and negatives on the value of this card box and added card options for revisiting the core set campaign. Personally speaking, I know this might seem minor, but I absolutely love that the one end of the card box looks like an old library card catalog drawer. The other "Return to" boxes follow suit. So I can set them up on my shelves in a very Lovecraftian thematic library research display.

Essentially, this expansion is a box that collects all the cards from the first three stories in the core set and supplies those stories with more locations and more challenges.Some people have a problem with the price. But we thought it was fair.It's not an essential addition- but it sure is nice to have.When we played the first of the three stories over, we got more enjoyment out of the originals with the new expansive material.Buy it.
