DickiesMen's Casual Reversible Belt

I bought this belt just about 1 year ago. I would estimate that I wear it 90% of days, so I've got the equivalent of about 10 or 11 months of daily use out of it. The leather is cracking at the belt hole that I use, so I don't know how much longer it will last, but I feel like I got my money's worth from it. It holds up my pants, looks good doing that and can be worn with any color since it reverses.I see two remarks in other reviews for this belt that need clarification, I think. First, lots of reviews say that the belt is too small and doesn't fit. This is misinformed. Belt size is not supposed to be the same as pants size. Don't take my word for it. Just google "belt size" and you'll discover that you're supposed to buy a belt that is 1 or 2 inches larger than your *accurately* measured waist size. It's probably a dumb way to do things, but that's how it is and how it has been since belts were invented. My waist size when I bought this belt was 36" so I bought the 38" belt. It fit perfectly on the middle hole.Secondly, some good folks are saying that the belt is junk because the reversing buckle comes apart. That is true, it does. But it is trivial to fix. Just remove the part of the buckle that's still attached to the belt by removing two recessed screws that hold it to the leather. Inside that part of the buckle is a spring-loaded screw that mates with the other half that has come apart. Put a small screwdriver into the head of that screw, compress the spring so the screw extends and turn the detached part of the buckle back on to the screw. It takes about 3 minutes. In the year that I've owned the belt, I've had to do that twice. The most challenging part was finding the little screwdriver buried in the bottom of my toolbox!I've owned several Dickies clothing products. They are no-frills, reasonably-priced items that are good value. I find this belt to be no exception.

This is a Christmas present for my husband, so I'm not sure if the fit is perfect yet. However, the belt looks to be very durable and was a value for the money. Have a great season.

Belt is of expected quality, I just wish it was made in the United States of America

The pin that hold the parts together, broke, while I was wearing the belt. The leather itself is of good quality, but the buckle does last.

I bought a size 34 belt. I wear 32 waist pants and use the 2nd hole from the end. I assume those with 34 waist would have to use the last hole which means they can't get any bigger than 34 or the belt won't fit anymore. I'm not sure if this is standard practice for all belts or not, just wanted to point that out so people get a sense of what the belt size means. Besides that, the belt is good. Looks nice, reversable, no stitching or other quality issues so far. Been using it for about 6 months.

I found this for my husband after looking at Target and Macy's for a quality belt for casual dress. I think that for the price it is a really good belt. It is good for the price. Macy's has a similar belt for around $25.00 under their Structure brand, but I am glad that I bought it on Amazon! I also used my Prime account and received free shipping, so I got this belt, and I think that it will last my husband around 2-3 years for less $ and aggravation than I would have spent at a mall. Most of the belts that are sold these day's are not great in quality, but this belt is a great value. After the belt will wear out my husband can take out the buckle and put it on another belt if he wanted.Thanks Amazon!

I recently bought another one of these belts due to the buckle finally breaking off after a few years. They are decent belts for the price and I like that they are reversible. It just seems on the new one I ordered that the buckle is already loose where it turns to reverse and that is the original weak spot. My first belt lasted about 4 years which is fine but it did become loose and break at the pivot point. The new one is already loose and doesn't like to pull back in snugly. Time will tell but this one looks manufactured more sloppily and cheaply than the prior belt. I would give it a 4 since I liked them in the past but I'm knocking off a half star just because like I said , this looks cheaply manufactured from the prior ones. If they last , they are def 4 star belts.

This is a good quality belt that will last.Last one lasted me 7 year's.The buckle changed slightly but the quality is the same. If you need a belt how can you go wrong for the price

Solid Leather! Excellent! The buckle is quite heavy and substantial, might not be the look for a dress occasion. To reverse the belt grasp the buckle in one hand and grasp the leather part of the belt just by the buckle, pull and twist...it's spring loaded.

I love this belt. It is brilliant quality and looks like it will last for years and years.It is a fairly rigid leather and is brown on one side and black on the other, so you can wear it with pretty much anything. The buckle is really solid and looks great.I bought the small, as I am usually a size 30 in pants and it fits perfectly with two holes spare. It's perfect if you are a 28/30 waist, but if you above a size 30 then I would go for the next size up, as there isn't much leeway.Very happy with it for the price.
