As described. Will be perfect for my dot painting project.
Nice quality. Comes in a sack like a bag of potatoes, so surprised not broken. Nice weight, great size, perfectly round & flat as described. Will be perfect for my dot painting projects that I'm doing as party favors & a craft activity. Rather pricey though, but close to just what I wanted, so worth it.

Nice flat surface round rocks
These are really nice flat round rocks for painting. Two of them had small chipped areas on one side. I usually paint both side so a little disappointed with the chips but otherwise great to paint on.

Broken rocks
I bought these rocks to paint on. Unfortunately, several rocks arrived broken. I did end up keeping them instead of returning and the ones that I was able to use were awesome to paint on. I probably should have returned them because they are pricey but I didnt want to wait for the return and reorder process.

Great fun for rock painting
Wonderful stones for rockpainting.... note: If you wash them before you paint them don't leave them in the sink, high in basalt/minerals they will leave a rust colored stain in your sink requiring toilet bowl strength cleaner to remove.... other than that I love them I bought this size and a smaller size and have shared some with fellow rock painters. They are well received.

Great for painting on
One arrived broken, so I was disappointed about this, as they're expensive. Maybe the seller could consider packaging them better, instead of just putting them in a net bag, to ensure the rocks arrive in good condition.I found out, after trying to paint straight onto the rocks, because it didn't work out that well, that a base coat was needed. I used a matt emulsion paint, as the base coat, which worked well. After the base coat had dried, I painted, using paint pens, my designs onto the base coated rocks and achieved a much better result.Ideally, I'd prefer a 10cm diameter rock to these 8cm diameter ones, as I'd to stick to simpler designs, but I'd prefer to paint bigger, more complexed designs, so I found these rocks a bit restricting, in this sense. I would buy so many, if they made 10cm diameter versions of these rocks!I've recommended these to my fellow rock painters, as they're flat and smooth, but warned them of the high price.
