So I wanted a laptop stand that brought the laptop to eye level, so that way I don't have to ever look down-- this is for optimal posture. Having the laptop on the desk meant that inevitably I was going to lean in and slouch. Terrible for the back and neck, especially if you're a modern day wage slave working for 10+ hours in front of a laptop. And so many laptop stands out there are just there for the sake of it. They hardly provide any elevation. But this beautiful, lovely little laptop stand is sturdy, light, and puts the screen a good 25cm above the surface of the desk, which is great. And the hinges don't lose their tenacity. I've had it for about 3-4 months, and my 14" Lenovo Ideapad (standard office issue stuff) sits on it for 12-13 hours nearly everyday, and still the hinges haven't moved, the stand hasn't sagged or anything. Brilliant. I highly recommend this laptop stand to everyone. It may not work for a 15.5" laptop, however. My personal laptop is a little heavy, and it feels like the stand could tip over because the center of gravity gets shifted to the back. Also the "catches" that hold the laptop are about 1.5cm. My personal laptop is thicker (more hardware) and tapers towards the front edge, so it doesn't sit comfortably on the stand and can slide off from the front. But if you've just got a stupid office laptop-- and let's be honest, you're going to use that for most of the day-- then this stand is perfect. Buy one for home, and one for office.

I was hesitant while placing the order as there were very few reviews. But I just ordered hoping it will be good. Surprisingly it is actually good. Not too heavy as I expected. But the moving jaws are tight enough(can be tightened) to hold my mac pro sturdily. No issue at all. Even the base grips stick to the table. Overall I completely satisfied with the product. Go ahead and buy

Good Quality and not recommended for 17.3 laptops

The stand is extremely useful. You only appreciate its great impact on your spine and neck, once you start using it. I bought two stands for my family. One is used to keep my dell laptop / MacBook. And another for iPad.Just a word of caution: if you have a very old and bulky laptop, it will not stay very stable on this stand at a certain height.

I have been using it for months every day and this is sturdy. This folds in a small form factor easily and extremely strong. My 16 inch laptop fits very well.

Only good for 10in laptop.Doesn't work well on 17in laptop.

Admittedly, it looks kind of cheap, especially if you see some of the other laptop stands out there. BUT! I really like how it's lightweight and fairly easy to maneuver the stand to whatever height you need it at. I've traveled with it (stuffed inside my carry-on suitcase) and was able to put my external Apple keyboard and external trackpad in between the stand (when it's fully closed) and it saved some room in my bag.I've used this laptop stand for my 13" MacBook, and iPad, and even placed a few hardcover books on it when I needed to clean my desk. I can't compare this one to others, but I was pleasantly surprised that it has held up well so far, considering I use it every day.

prinzipiell entspricht das Produkt meinen Erwartungen. Ich hätte mir nur etwas mehr Stabilität gewünscht, damit man auch auf dem Laptop mit Ständer schreiben kann. Aber für die Anwendung an eine Dockingstation mit externer Tastatur sehr zu empfehlen.

semble bien solide. supporte mon laptop (gamer 17", très lourd et très épais et très large)le plier et déplier est un peu dur, ce qui est nécessaire pour tenir le laptopil n'y a pas de vis pour rèégler cette force, mais je suppose que reserrer les écrous fera fonctionle 'retour' pour retenir le laptop est un peu juste en hauteur (l'ajout d'un profil en alu est possible)dans l'ensemble je suis fort satisfait de mon achat qui peut aussi servir de support pour livrele logo est assez grand, mais est caché dés qu'on pose un laptopon verra la tenue dans le temps et si il faut reserrer les écrous
