Does NOT sweeten and changes the flavor of your tea.
Right off the bat, you open the bag and it smells funky inside. I drink mate cocido and have for several years. I used to use stevia in the raw or sugar but wanted to cut down on the processed added sugars. I’ve used stevia leaves before. So I thought I’d buy some myself. These must be old or something done to them because they don’t sweeten at all! I used 24 leaves in a liter of mate, then 36, and I couldn’t detect a hint of sweetness and all I ended up with was a funky tasting bland mate, that didn’t taste like mate anymore. I’d recommend looking elsewhere for leaves.

I love this I just wish the bags were bigger! Great stuff I just soak in some hot water overnight and poor some into my coffee in am.
