this was already curled up at edges when it arrived. very plastic materiel. Good for the garden to practice chipping off but have seen better on the market

The mat is as described and is ok for light chipping practice - however - the “grass” fibres are quite deep, making the mat quite thick. This means that it is tricky to use on the fairway for pitching or irons, because the ball sits quite high introducing a “ball above the feet” scenario which can be quite distracting. It does do a good job of protecting the turf below from the club strike. The mat itself is lightweight and will move about during use, but the two fixing pins supplied mitigate this to the greater extent, especially if the mat is used for chipping where the club strike is lighter.

Its great to hit off of but in my opinion too big to take on the course. Would be good for a practice area set up.

This is a very good mat. It is only let down by the clip provided for attaching to your golf bag which is not sturdy enough for the purpose.

Only used for chip shots so no idea regards full iron shots. perfectly decent even if a bit pricey for that job ..having said that if it lasts then price would be fine

Wanted to work on my chipping onto the green so bought this to lie on my decking.It has Velcro bottom so stuck nice and firm.Saved me a fortune on buying range balls.Now that annoying distance that’s too short to pitch but off the green I have now mastered.Brilliant and we’ll worth the money.

My course insists on using fairway mats during winter, I’ve used a few different ones but this is by far the best I’ve had. Ball sits nicely on the surface and mat has a little weight about it allowing it to sit nicely. I’ve added a small anchor spike at the back to give added stability
