The rainsticks were included in gift baskets for my bridal party. They were a HUGE hit. Great quality and just beautiful pieces overall.

Duration of trickle is awful. Not really a rainstick, but a tube full of beads.
This is a bamboo tube, capped on both ends, with some beads or something inside. Unless you hold it at the perfect angle so the beads trickle down the sides of the bamboo, it just sounds like a bunch of beads falling from one end of a tube to another. Well-crafted rainsticks have lots of layers inside that cause the beads to trickle down through the tube, not just fall from one side to the other. This was supposed to be a Christmas present for my young nephew, but now I need to go find another gift for him and this piece of junk is going to sit in my closet because it's not worth paying the shipping to return it.

Bamboo not cactus but still a nice sound.
Nice bamboo body with decorations. Not made of cactus so it has a slightly different sound.
