Definitely an interesting product, do yourself a favor if you have horses don't open it up outside.
This is a very interesting product, the ingredient list reads like a superfood so I thought I'd give it a try. Little did I know I could have just taken a stroll out to the feed barn and grabbed a handful of rabbit or horse pellets and and tossed them in a blender.Because that's exactly what this product tastes like, Of course that's no surprise as alfalfa is the number one ingredient on the list, I'm not the only one who recognized that smell, I made the mistake of taking my cup outside and was immediately accosted by my horses who thought I was bringing them a new treat and couldn't figure out why I wasn't sharing, They weren't taking no for an answer, they were snotting and snorting enough that I just caved and let them have it, they loved every bit of it... LOL.Don't get me wrong, this product's not objectionable, In fact quite the contrary, to an old farm boy like me it kinda smells and tastes pretty good, if you've ever been in a barn with fresh alfalfa that's exactly what it smells like. the powder is extremely finely ground, I wouldn't quite say Talcum powder level but still very fine ground Which means it dissolves easily, I didn't even use a blender, I just added a scoop to the water bottle and shook it up, So I give it bonus points for dissolving quickly and mixing easily. For a fair test the very first sample was mixed with 16 ounces of bottled water and no sweetener, It dissolved quickly and thoroughly turning the 16 ounces of water dark green . As previously mentioned it strongly reminded me of the flavor you get when you toss a flake of alfalfa hay and get a little bit in your mouth, It's not objectionable to me, of course I've been around this for a while, On the other hand some of you city Folks might find it takes a bit of getting used to. To put this in perspective I actually find it much better tasting than wheat grass tea, So if you can drink wheat grass tea this stuff will taste great to you.On the second sample we tried it with a bit of Stevia, one packet is far too much as the flavor of the product itself is actually fairly light so a packet of Stevia overpowered it. On the next attempt we added about 1/2 a pack of Stevia which seemed to be about right...Although I haven't tried it yet I believe if you mixed it with a vanilla or chocolate protein powder you'd never know it was in there.I should mention that this comes in a nice Little tub that's much larger than it appears on the web, unfortunately when I opened that tub I noticed that the product had settled substantially and that it was only about half full, worse yet the included scoop has buried itself all the way to the bottom so I had to use a spoon to dig it out.Overall I'd say it appears to be a good value, the flavor is not objectionable in fact I believe most people who are looking for a product like this would enjoy it. with that said I'd have no problem recommending this.

I love sun warrior and picked this because everyone said the taste wasn’t bad…it taste like old seaweed to me. Disappointed because I love green juice smoothies but this is not good.

Tastes Like a Barn Smells, But in a Weirdly Reassuring Way
Alright, so this green powder? It smells like someone freshly cracked open a bale of alfalfa and invited you to inhale it straight from the farm. First time I opened the bag, I genuinely thought I got the livestock version by accident. But after one scoop in a shaker with cold water, I was surprised how smooth it mixed. No clumps, no blender necessary. The taste? It’s like a faintly grassy green tea that grew up on a commune. Not bad, just... earthy. Like if Whole Foods had a signature scent you could drink.I started using this as a daily greens boost since my vegetable intake is mostly theoretical. After a week, I felt a bit more alive—not bouncing-off-walls energy, but like my cells were slightly more enthusiastic about existing. It plays nice with fruit smoothies or citrus juice if you're not into drinking the essence of lawn clippings straight. Bonus points for the solid ingredients list and zero stomach drama. Just don’t open this outside unless you want every farm animal within a five-mile radius to think you’ve brought snacks.5 stars. It’s not delicious, but I didn’t buy it for flavor. I bought it to make my body stop begging for a spinach leaf, and it’s doing its job.

Gluten-free but NOT wheat-free-Otherwise great and a bit "Grassy"
I love products from this brand so was excited to come across a new one since I've been wanting to get a greens supplement for especially my two kiddos since they're pretty picky when it comes to veggies, and figured it'd be great for me as well. I did check the photo of the label carefully, but it's in another language (at least at the time of this posting). I did see it was gluten-free so assumed it was safe. Sadly it has barley grass and whole wheat grass in it. It's one of those tricky things where because it's the young grass portion and not the seed portion used to make flour, it is technically gluten-free, but not wheat-free. Just be aware if you have a wheat allergy/sensitivity like I do. Luckily my kiddos do not, but I felt the photos currently posted in another language are a little misleading for folks with potential sensitivities and allergies if they cannot properly read the ingredients, hence knocking off a star as it feels a little irresponsible.I personally cannot vouch for the taste, but my daughter will drink this mixed in a smoothie. My son currently refuses to consume almost anything with a hint of green, so no luck there. My daughter said it's pretty good. Tastes "healthy and a little grassy" according to her, but she likes it and is actually not a stranger to trying grass and having wheat grass added to her smoothies at the health food store. It does smell earthy and grassy to me. I like that the ingredients are very clean and the brand has a strong following with great reviews, so I feel good giving this to my daughter and also my husband (who is on the fence about it, but if I throw in a banana into the smoothie, he will tolerate it). Seems like a great way to get in some extra greens without going gang busters on the sugar like a lot of these types of drinks do. We add it to her fruit smoothies with a little grassfed gelatin and a small squeeze of strawberry stevia drops as too much sugar makes her feel jittery. Nice that there's no sweeteners in this either, artificial or natural, as that will throw some folks off. It's not really something most would do as a stand-alone drink, but it's a great thing to add to protein/ smoothie drinks to up your intake of greens.
