A Quality Product!
My blood pressure machine that I've had for a while went on the blink and I decided to replace it.A look through Amazon checking specs, reviews and price had me settle on the Medgram which seemed to meet my requirements perfectly.I ordered it using my prime account and it was delivered the following day.On opening the unit I discovered it required 4x AAA which are not supplied with the unit. Luckily I keep a pack of triple and double A batteries for various remotes and devices. I discovered later that the unit does have a 5v DC USB connector which can be used with a power supply similar to a phone charger. According to the manual, the batteries should not be used with the 5v DC power supply connect and visa versa.I have included photos of the different power options (red circle) as well as the cuff tube input (blue circle) and showing the displays.Operation is surprisingly easy but it is advisable to set the date and time first. I recommend reading the user manual to do the setup as, although being straight forward, is not that intuitive. The cuff that is supplied is fairly large which was a nice surprise as my previous unit had a small cuff and I had to buy a new cuff. The old cuff does connect and work with the Medgram but I found the supplied cuff worked fine on my arm.The capability of being able to measure 2 'patients' on separate channels (labelled A & B) is a nice touch as both I and a housemate used the previous unit. Up to 120 readings can be stored on each channel (240 total).Starting to use it requires setting the user channel (A or B) by pressing the 'Set' button. The cuff is positioned on the arm, 2 to 3cm from the elbow and plugged into the unit. The it is simply a matter of pressing the start button and away it goes. The cuff blows up and then starts do deflate. When complete you are left with 2 readings, Systolic and diastolic blood pressures.Again I suggest reading the user manual that has the meanings of the readings. This is done with a simple to understand diagram (also in pictures on this article)It also explains the positioning of the cuff and how to set your arm whilst doing the blood pressure tests as the final readings are affected if you don't have your arm at the correct angle. All in all, the Medgram is an excellent device and certainly feels like a quality item.I am well pleased with it and recommend it to anyone who wishes or needs to keep their eye on their blood pressure.

Help keep an eye on my health.
It's a very smart well made B. P monitor it arrived in good time and well packaged, the larger numbers and text are easy to see but the smaller symbols are a bit hard to see it would have been better with a back light to see things better but that aside it really is a nice solid machine and easy to use I've not long started to use it but the readings I'm getting seem pretty consistent, am I happy with this device yes I am I know it's early days yet but on first appearance and operation of the device I'm pleased with my purchase and it's good value for the money.

Great Little Machine
As a retired nurse, I appreciate the importance of keeping an eye on our blood pressures. Our previous machine recently started to give some weird (and incompatible with life) readings, so it was time to replace it. I was surprised that prices seem to actually have come down on these since our last purchase. I went for one with excellent reviews and wasn't disappointed. This is well built, simple to use and has a dual memory so that both mine and my wife's previous readings can be stored separately for future comparison. Has a time and date stamp feature too. All in all a great little device and means that we won't have to bother our poor old GP too often any more!

Impressed
Changed to this model as the previous one I picked which was £10 cheaper didn't appear to be auto inflate this one does.Never used one at home before but have been advised to by the gp, takes 2 mins to run through the instructions plus you get a message from the seller directly after delivery advising on key things to do ( only a couple of bits not an extensive list ) Reading is accurate for the first one as its showing slightly raised the same as the gp one picked up yesterday. If you're looking for a machine that can work off both battery and mains, easy to use with no lengthy set up, with auto inflate so no need to pre measure arm etc then I'd have no issues in recommending this product regardless of age or if you're concerned of difficult set up.

Handy gadget
I don’t know how accurate it is , but it’s consistent with it results, I take a reading every morning and again in the evening around the same times , I take 2 readings about 3 minutes apart to see my results, there is a slight difference in the second reading but not by much, told my nurse that and she said that’s about right as your body is settling down, I record my results each day , I can’t fault it as it’s never been wide of the mark, so I would recommend it. Remember this isn’t the same as the professional’s have , but as I say it’s a good product for me and it doesn’t cost that much,

Good Product
Bought new monitor as old one gave high readings compared to recent hospital visit. This one works well, doesn't pressure the arm as much as my previous monitor. Readings lower than previous monitor but compared with machine used at my doctors, results were very similar so accuracy looks to be good. Screen okay to read but could be better.
