This is the 3rd or 4th consumer grade ceramic coating I have applied to one of my cars. This is BY FAR the easier product to apply and remove. As with any other coating, good prep is key. But CSL goes on easy and most importantly wipes/buffs off with little effort and without waiting for rainbow/flash over and trying to correctly time every panel application. This not only simplifies the process, with much less elbow grease used, it also speeds the process way up. There's no going back over areas you let dry too long. So far the hardness and water beading are fantastic. At this point CSL is the only product I will use on any of my vehicles.

Very good product from a very reputable company. I've use Gtechniq's V5 ceramic coating and wanted to try this one out. Although it is best to use V5 and CSL as a combo, I opted to use CSL alone. Water beading and durability are great. Application was easy. Just use high quality towels. There are a lot of YouTube videos on how to apply this specific coating so help is everywhere. I would definitely purchase with again.

I've mainly been a carpro guy, coating cars with CQuartz UK. The last coating I used was Adam's Graphene, which I wouldn't spend time reviewing. So when I got my S5, I decided to go with Crystal Serum Light. It was so easy to apply to my car. I noticed that the coating was the slickest of the three. After allowing the coating to cure for seven days, I wanted to see the hydrophobic qualities that I heard about. This coating doesn't disappoint. I have found that I can pressure wash my car once a week, get on the freeway and blow dry my car. Within the first mile my car is dried off and looks like I hand washed it. Any spots that dries dirty, I'll knock down with a detailer spray. The whole reason I coat my cars is so I don't have to spend an hour washing my car to make it look good for the week. I coat them to cut down on my washes by doing the high pressure rinses. It minimizes the chances of scratching the paint from hand washes.

Easy to apply and level. Flashing period is roughly 3-5 min. High spots are moderate difficulty to remove, but nothing too bad like some professional coatings. Forgiving enough to learn on this coating, but still yields great results for veterans. I did my summer set of wheels first, then my entire Blackwing, and lastly my daily driver Tahoe. I used roughly 80mL total, for all jobs above, with some left over. Windshields are awesome post coating, but are prone to high spots/streaks on application. I always let the windshields cure for "too long" then use some 0000 steel wool to remove stubborn high spots from the glass (it acts like a polish on glass surfaces). You can always double coat glass surfaces for ultimate hydrophobic protection

I coat all my vehicles with CSL. It is so easy to apply and remove and provides great protection.

I do a multi-stage strip wash,claybar,polish,glaze and wax so my vehicles surface is perfect for this application.It is sealing the vehicles paint and saving that incredible lustrous gloss that you worked hard to create.I have found that Gtechniq's Panel Wipe is important to prepare the surface so that this bonds to your vehicles paint,i also use it after polishing,to prepare for glaze,after glaze to prepare for wax etc.My cars surface is smooth to the touch with an awesome deep gloss.I just finished so i can't comment on the durability.

The Pros:+ Applying it is fairly straight forward, and requires a little experience to understand when the product has properly flashed before removing with a micro fiber towel.+ It isn't the shiniest of ceramic coatings, but if your paint correction is done well, it does shine and give the extra protection of other competitors ceramic coatings.The Cons:- It's expensive, and never goes on sale.- It's not the ultimate in water repellency, and doesn't feel "soft" to the touch like other products.- If using 2x coatings, you will need a second bottle depending the size of the vehicle.

Superb pro-sumer genuine ceramic coating. I am an amateur car valeter and I look after 6 to 8 family cars. I taught myself to paint correct using a DA 12mm throw machine and a selection of pads and compounds. Now when family buy a new car and the dealer does that upsell of trying to get them to spend a thousand on a ceramic coating they so no, Dad will do it for cost of materials. I have now done 5 cars with GT CSL and if your follow the rules, it is a top class ceramic coating. 1 Wash the car thoroughly and dry. 2 Claybar car to removed bonded contaminants. 3. wash and dry once more. 4 Use IPA or panel prep on each panel, I do this twice. 5 follow the instructions and apply the CSL to half a panel at a time and wait until it flashes over ( 60 secs to 90 secs). Level with one microfibre cloth then buff a wider area with second microfibre cloth. Keep your levelling cloth and your buffing cloth apart from each other, maybe have different colours. Work around the car until you have done all the painted surfaces. Allow to cure undercover for 12 hours. Consider adding two coats of G Techniq EXO on top , again following the guidelines or using a spray topper like G Techniq C2V3. I have another car to do for my DIL so I will be buying another bottle soon. It doesn't matter how old the car is, as long as you do a full decontamination wash and paint correction. the oldest car I have done is 12 years old and it now looks better than showroom condition as there are no swirl marks. I really enjoy working with G Techniq products and my family love having clean , well detailed cars.

So Shiny easy to apply. My bike become protected from swirl scratch and so easy to clean off the dirt, dust and watermark.

Use this product on my Tesla model Y. One bottle had just enough liquid to apply to the entire car. Spent about 2 hours applying it after prepping the vehicle with a deep wash and clay bar.The protective coating and shine disappeared after a month of driving. I do not recommend.
