This would be a super cute gift for someone who loves matcha lattes! It comes in a super cute box. The reason I gave it three stars is because while aesthetically the tools are nice, the bamboo spoon and tongs are too bulky and impractical for a tea ceremony set. The bowl works but it is a strange triangle shape which makes whisking quickly less fluid and relaxing.

A lovely set that makes the ritual of preparing matcha tea a little more enjoyable. The bowl is the perfect size and the whisk works well for working the lumps out of the tea. I still haven't figured out what the tongs are for, though. The bowl and bamboo tools are high quality. I bought this for myself, but it would make a lovely gift for a matcha tea drinker. It comes gift boxed.

If your using the cup to grind the matcha it is difficult. The cup bottom is rough and porous. Its very difficult to get the matcha out without a brush. The bristles of the bamboo whisk are delicate and tend to spread the matcha in a way that make it grind into the pores of the cup and shead the matcha like fine dust. I dont like it. And dont use the whisk or matcha when wet. It clumps and just makes a mess. I have found that a little mini metal whisk does great! No mess, clumping or sheading. But i like the cup it's intresting and the shape is good for drinking from.

Extremely cheap made, and therefore cheap looking-- pictures look better than the actual items! Very unsophisticated the entire thing! Extreme rough edges around the cup!‼️Whisk on the inside top a bit unraveled! Bottom line, I do not recommend this set!
