746-04728 Single Speed Drive Cable 946-04728A Fits MTD Craftsman Troy-Bilt TB200 TB210 Rotary 15102 Push Mower

Bought this for my Snapper self-propelled. Wasn’t sure it would work but to my surprise it worked great. The description doesn’t mention Snapper but it fit nicely.

I can't remove the throttle cable or the self propell cable? The original self propelled has a clip to remove from one side. If I ordered the wrong part. ( throttle control ) it would be to long. I have the right part but it's built the wrong way? I will reach out to the company and update my review. Turns out it's the wrong part number? It fits but it's backwards. I like everything about the part, but it won't work. Have to return it for the right part.

Purchased for a 21 inch self propelled snapper mower everything that was sent worked perfectly there are videos on you tube which show just how easy it isProduct was exact as needed it took 3 days to arrive from Amazon my old cable rusted out place a few drops of oil where the cable slides in and out of it’s covering this will prevent the new cable from a binding b rusting

Cable (for front wheel drive) fit our Craftsman 2.75 mower perfectly. I give it 10 thumbs up. I paired it with a new throttle cable (instead of waiting for the throttle cable to break next). Back mowing with it, again. :)

The media could not be loaded.  I have just installed the 946-04728 cable on my MTD push mower. It fit the mower OK. It was not hard to install. I was surprised to see that the new cable wire was not quite as heavy duty as the original. The plastic clip that holds both the drive and blade shut off was nowhere near strong enough. Started to come off after about two pulls. I used 4 zip ties to help secure it ( See picture). Maybee it will hold. Hope I get enough life out of this cable to get my money's worth.

The plastic “cable keeper” doesn’t got as snug or as OEM cable it replaced. I had to use 3 zip ties to ensure it stays flush with handle. I’m not quite sure if it might be a tad long as the drive wheels don’t engage as quickly as with OEM cable.
