I’d never seen this before but bought it when my slow cooker handle came off and the thread was stripped. Because it gets hot I needed something to withstand high temperatures and water - this has done the job. Super easy to use - just cut a little bit off, knead in in your fingers for a minute of so and apply it to where it’s needed. Sets solid very quickly - I screwed the screw in while it was still pliable and it’s as good as new. One thing - it’s a bit smelly on your fingers if you don’t wear surgical gloves (or similar) when kneading it. But that said, it washed off quite easily.

What I received is not clear or transparent, it's opaque gray/black. Maybe mfg has a different definition for the word clear. Sent back via amazon.

Prima di acquistarla ho letto qualche recensione scritta per la versione bio-componente, che non si lasciava lavorare. Io alla fine ho optato per quella già pronta. E devo dire che è proprio una bomba! Incolla veramente di tutto. Finora l'ho usata per incollare il pezzo di una statua in gesso, un pezzo di ferro senza battente su un orologio di rame, gli occhiali di mio figlio, il tira-graffi dei gatti, ed altre cose che ora mi sfuggono... ma soprattutto è stata acquistata come mastice per riparare un buco nel carter della moto. Risultato: l'olio non esce più! La colla, una volta secca, si può carteggiare e riverniciare, se usata per parti di metallo.Mai visto nulla di simile, davvero!

I used some of this to fix/reinforce a small crack in a fibreglass bath tub, applying it to the outside of the tub after carefully cleaning the (rough) surface with isoproyl alcohol. It stuck well, and set rock hard. I blended it down to very thin around the edges so that any flexing also flexes the hardened putty, rather than risking causing it to peel. For aesthetic reasons I coated along the crack on the inside of the tub with a thin, clear UV setting resin, to provide a smooth finish.I only used about a quarter of the supplied stick for the above, the rest remains for other uses. Cutting it off to the desired length even with an Xacto blade left the hardener and resin parts smeared slightly together. Kneading it to mix it was slightly frustrating in latex gloves, because it sticks quite well to the gloves. On the other hand, it sticks pretty well to the things that you do want it to stick to, too.There are cheaper varieties of this kind of product, including some that incorporate metal powders and so on, and some in much lighter colours, but this stuff basically works as advertised, is comparable in price to other recognized brands, and I have no reason to doubt its cured strength or durability. If you're not expecting it to work actual miracles, and you're OK with the colour, then I don't think it will disappoint.Verdict: Did what I wanted. As epoxy putty goes, this seems pretty sound.
