Trippet Tripe for Kidney issues
Any flavor canned Trippet Tripe highly recommend for canine kidney issues/restrictive diets - you don't have to protein starve your dog - just give them highly digestible muscle meats like this - taste and smell, toxic for humans : ), that dogs can't resist

all of the Tripett green tripe products smell like a barn
n my opinion, all of the Tripett green tripe products smell like a barn, however, I've seen it do wonders for geriatric and/or sick dogs who would not eat anything else but this tripett. This stinky Tripett is ADORED by dogs and cats! I've seen it used for a vehicle to be an appetizing carrier of herbal medicines. My dogs eat home made raw food, and have for many, many years, but I do have a geriatric dog who now needs this green tripe to keep eating because she has lost her appetite for other food. Also, I supplement it with nutritional yeast, raw egg yolks (not the whites!) powdered kelp, powdered spirulina, along with a raw pureed blend of organic carrot, apple and dandelion greens. I supplement this green tripe in order to assure a complete nutritional profile. I suggest that you consult Petkind and ask them if this green tripe is meant to be fed as an entire meal; I don't believe that it is, but if I had to do that, I'd prefer it over other prepared dog food.

Saved HUC dog
My dog is 10 years old and has had ulcerative colitis for about 5 years. She has sensitivities to beef, chicken, and fish. At her peak she was a 50lb dog, but symptoms got so bad she lost 13lbs- mostly muscle mass. I tried everything to get weight back on her and improve her muscles to no avail. She continued to get worse. Then I found This. This stuff works miracles! Mixing it with kibble she devoured it all and due to natural digestive enzymes in tripe, it doesn't upset her stomach. We started taking short walks to help build muscle, and I am happy to say she is on the mend.

Great Alternative if Your Dog Can't Eat Green Beef Tripe
One of our dogs is beef intolerant and it sucks that he can't have green beef tripe. Bison and lamb are off the menu too. When I first saw the Tripett makes green venison tripe, I bought 3 cases and our dog loves it and it doesn't throw off his digestive system.Although I wish that I could go fresh, it's not a possibility for us at this time and I'm thankful to have this alternative.Kimberly, Keep the Tail Wagging
