Women's Sexy Black Floral Mini Chinese Evening Dress Cheongsam

I was really nervous about ordering too large I’m usually an 8. I’m very curvy, especially around the hips and butt. I have a little waist and small upper body. I am 145 and 5’5 and wear a 34 B. I went with a size 10 and it fit like a glove! I’ll even be able to wear a nice bra without it being too tight! For any curvy ladies out there go a size up:)

This dress is very pretty. Got lots of compliments, a gorgeous traditional looking cheongsam. The length made it more modern. As i assumed, there is 0 stretch due to the material. I ordered one size up. I wear a 4 I’m 130 pounds 5’4 and I wear a 30D, i ordered the size 6. It fit very well everywhere except my boobs which were completely squished.

This was a a good dress, it was exactly what I wanted for the event. The material was good, not too heavy so that it was stiff but heavy enough to hold it's shape. As for the four stars, instead of 5, the dress was sewn is such a way that the side seams over the hips were shifted by approximately a half inch so that the slit up the sides didn't sit evenly. It ended up causing me to show a bit more leg.I'm 5 foot 3 inches, it came to just above my knee and was the perfect length. I'm a size 8-10 body, 12 chest. The 12 in this particular dress fit perfectly, the 14 was much too large.Note this, the side slits are pretty high. You cannot sit in this dress, it's for a standing event only.

(writing this for my wife) Buttons are not that great feels like they would pop open at anytime, the loop buttons on the top part are extremely hard to fasten( loops to small for knots, the shoulder material at the seem is sewn weird so the crease is wider in one area, the back is sewn to make it bunch above the lower back instead of it been smooth. The good is the material is beautiful, I would get one size larger so you can take it somewhere to have it tailored. Honestly need to be about $20 cheaper.

Years ago, I’ve had horrible luck in purchasing Mandarin dresses online.But I decided to give it another try and I’m in love with my dress.I’m 206 lbs., 5’5 and ordered size 18 and it fits great. Of course it’s a bit roomy in the chest area. But my concern was that it fit my butt and hips. I guess I could have went with a size 16, but I didn’t want to chance it.I’m African American and I enjoy wearing clothing from many cultures for many years. Of course I ask if it’s ok to wear them. But I enjoy the textures, colors and prints. I also get many compliments when I do as well.I’ll probably buy 2 more. 😃

usually love these silk dresses and they look so good on the right petite body, this was no different except for a flaw. The snaps are low quality and fail easily, and there is too much excess material on the side of the bust area. So it did not have the traditional tailored lines and sophisticated fun appearance. Real let down.

this is a gorgeous dress, IF you have the figure for it. i ordered the size 4 based on the chart provided and it zipped up just fine. however, the shiny fabric drew attention to my protruding belly. the zippers were good, the dress is well made and does not look like a costume.

So I had some concerns before the purchase. I was worried that ordering larger sizes for someone taller and a bit more broad wouldn't work with this dress. And I was correct. The larger sizes you go in the less of a fitted shape that was intended you will have; so you'll have to get it tailored. The loop straps are ether a hit or a miss and for me it was a miss. They do not fit in the holes and I'm going to see if a tailor might be able to do some alterations.My advice with this dress, good if you're short and under a size 12, otherwise you'll need a tailor. And the loop buttons are a hit or miss.
