The VanGuard 2 Advanced Kit is a capability upgrade to our venerable VanGuard 2 minimalist IWB holster. Unlike traditional IWB holsters, the VG2 covers only the trigger guard of your weapon. This unique design eliminates the bulk of a traditional holster, while providing a level of safety and security not attainable by simply sticking a pistol in the waistband of your pants. The VG2 Advanced Kit’s inclusion of the RCS CLAW takes this system’s concealability to the next level, by leveraging the grip of the pistol close to the body, while still allowing for a clean, repeatable draw. The VanGuard 2 Advanced Kit with the RCS CLAW can be equipped with either a Tuckable strut with overhook or Tuckable strut with soft loop, to allow you to choose the best belt interface system for your carry and mission type. This combination is adjustable for ride-height and cant, is fully ambidextrous, and is the ultimate in deep concealment technology when combined with our proprietary tuckable struts. Please note that the VG2 Advanced kit is not compatible with the Basic Kit Strut or the Lanyard option. VG2 CLAWs are only compatibe with the model of VG2 shell specified. For example, a Glock VG2 CLAW will NOT fit a M&P VG2 holster shell.

Don't buy this trash, despite Colion Noir's recommendation
Like others, I bought this product partly because Colion Noir recommended it (and partly because the minimal form factor is actually really awesome, just poorly executed). Shame on you, Colion Noir, shame on you for promoting this absolute garbage. The holster does cover the trigger guard, and it does so securely. For that reason, I give 2 stars rather than 1 star. You *cannot* safely reholster when using this holster, but I won't hold that against it (there is plenty of other reason to dislike this holster).Even drawing once or twice from this holster could easily be enough to break it (as other reviewers point out). Mine didn't break, but it bent dangerously. Even more dangerous, on many draws, the holster comes out with the gun. Somewhat less frequently, but still terrifyingly often, it stays partly on the trigger guard, blocking my ability to get a shot off without adding another step to manually remove the holster from the firearm. The retention - which is *mostly* a good aspect - is a huge problem when it comes to removing the holster from the gun manually. It is very difficult. This could be seen as a safety feature, but it also impacts the longevity of the holster, as it appears to be a part of what causes the holster to bend at extreme angles during draws. You probably have to see it to believe it, as I did, especially after watching Colion Noir rave about how great it is. I didn't believe the other negative reviews (stupid me). Clearly, they were correct. This product is not worth buying.

Simple Perfection
This holster is simple perfection, just like the Glock 19 it carries. It is constructed with exactly what is needed for safe, comfortable retention, and nothing more.It snaps onto the trigger guard with a positive “click” and holds it firmly. Drawing requires a moderately brisk yank. You must holster the weapon before wearing it, so I wouldn’t recommend this holster for drawing from concealment practice. It’s a wear it and forget it kind of holster. The plastic clip seems kind of flimsy at first look, but it holds the gun in place all the live-long day with no creep or unwanted tilting. And the clip is narrow and discrete — barely visible on a black belt when wearing tucked.I’m somewhat big at 6’2” 215 lbs. I was needing a tuckable holster to wear with the polo shirts and button downs I frequently wear to work, and to my great surprise, I have little to no printing. Up until now I thought of my Glock 19 as a “winter carry,” only useful under bulky clothes, but not so! The shirt in the picture is a fairly thin, stretchy material. (Greg Norman golf shirt)I should point out that I always wear an undershirt when carrying concealed. I need a cotton buffer between me and the gun, no matter what the weather, or holster I’m running, but since this holster offers no sweat guard protection, it’s definitely a good idea to wear an undershirt. The ride is comfortably high such that I can wear it 14 hours a day without discomfort, sitting, standing, kneeling, napping, walking, even jogging. The claw is just right and keeps the butt of the gun right up against my belly, making it melt away behind my shirt, as you can see in the pics.A wonderful design that makes my Glock 19 even more versatile. I couldn’t be happier with this product.

Minimal, Simple yet secure.
This holster is great! I am an appendix carry guy so this review is coming from that viewpoint. It keeps the firearm secure and close to the body. As long as you tighten down the screws when assembling the firearm will not move around at all. It'll be right where you want if you need it. I'm in pretty decent shape so my belly being in the way or it getting uncomfortable from that perspective aren't really an issue for me. Sitting at my desk with it there all day isn't uncomfortable. Unless I'm wearing something pretty tight there is no printing at all which is key for me. It's only the 2nd IWB holster that I've tried but it leaves great access to drawing the firearm. Keeps it high enough above the belt that I can easily get my hand around the grip. The only con is that it is annoying to reholster the firearm since it does clam shell over the trigger guard so practice drawing is a hassle. But the draw is simple and smooth and I have no doubt that if I ever have to draw for real this holster will be reliable. There were 2 different belt clips that came with the holster so depending on how wide your belt is you have an option so you can use it without worry. I would definitely recommend this holster if you are looking for something minimal yet secure for you IWB EDC.

Minimalist holster for a Glock
I have been looking for a holster to work on a few Glocks. I have the Glock 17, 19, 23, 30, 30S, and 34. This holster works for my 9 mm pistols, the Glock 23, and 30S (45 ACP). It is too narrow for a standard sized Glock 30.The kit comes with two wings for either right or left handed users. The wings give an offset for an easier draw from the holster, Two belt clips are provided for thick and thinner belts. The holster works by shrouding the trigger guard. Surprisingly, it requires a decent amount of force to free it from the holster. This works by stabilizing on the belt, and an upward draw. It works as quickly as a GCode holster. The major caveat about this particular configuration is that you must remove the holster from the belt to reholster the pistol. It works in the appendix position, as well as the 3:00 position.Due to the decreased bulk, it is quite comfortable, and most importantly, safe.Update:I have tested dropping this to see if it would come off of the pistol. It is very stable.I tried this holster on sweat pants. Though it’s stable and stays put, the pistol cannot be drawn from sports pants.
