We had been given a inexpensive version of this as a gift and the kids loved it, but it broke almost instantly. I searched for a more robust replacement and came across this and am so happy with it!Easy to use and play with, I especially enjoy that there are more options than just =, which I think will give it more longevity.All in all it seems to be high quality, even the little bag that comes with it.

Not what I expected.. it's better! The pieces come apart to make different words. You can find the letters you need and the magenta are strong. My daughter has been leaving secret messages for me and using as a cipher as well. Cool toy.

My mother has a couple of the pieces of a set of the letter/spelling magnets from when my brothers were little (now in their 30s), and their daughters love playing with them, but would get bored with only having 2 or 3 pieces. So I picked up a set of letter magnets and this set. Mom was so excited to get these! Exactly as described, and now we have a storage bag! Yay!

We bought this for our 6 year old great-grandson. His Dad is in the Army and they will be moving to another state to another post. We thought this would make a great gift for him to play with while riding in the car during their trip. He is an above average reader and very smart. He loves words and puzzles and was very excited to receive this.

This magnetic spin game is just the best for all ages. I had an old set that my visiting 9 yr old great grandson found on my shelf and he hardly ever put it down afterword. He loved finding words, but he loved the way the magnets attracted and repelled each other as well. I was thrilled to find this ‘vintage’ game still available on Amazon and ordered him one for a Christmas gift, if I can wait that long to give it to him. It would be fun for all ages.

I will definitely bring this game with me on my bus trips. Will help me to kill time. Don't t quite understand the instructions, but you can make words without instructions. Nice little carry pouch for it also. It's a keeper.

Bought this for my 7 year old granddaughter, but plan on also using it with my 5 year old granddaughter, who will begin kindergarten in September. Love that it can be used to teach so many different phonics concepts due to its interchangeable parts and magnetic properties! Comes with its own durable pouch and instructions for various games which my granddaughter liked. Also, she had a lot of fun playing with the magnetic parts.

I ordered Word Spin to have something to do when I travel or have to wait somewhere. I am very happy with it. It's very sturdy and the magnetic property of the word wheels keep it together. It's big enough that you won't lose the pieces (there's only 8), but small enough that you can put it in a pocket. I like to make words and short sentences with it. With 8 wheels and 10 letters per each wheel, there are thousands of combinations you can make with Word Spin.

Have had Travel Read Spins for years & decided to add some more.I was not impressed to find that the size has changed so I cannot use my new pack with my 'older' pack, ok much older pack.This means I will probably buy another as I feel you need two to enjoy them properly.We tend to use the spins to leave messages for each other, and have done this for a long time.Can recommend, apart from the fact you cannot mix with older product.
