Lost my original in the Caribbean at some point - this was a perfect fit/replacement.

I added this to my Aqualung SPG that had a white placeholder puck. Super easy to pop out the puck and replace with this compass. Easy to read for navigation underwater. Been down to 120 feet and zero issues.

Compass worked fine in my hand away from any metal. When I installed the compass in the console with a VEO 180 Nx computer the compass needle went crazy and pointed all different directions except North. After contacting Oceanic customer support and being transferred to someone "more familiar" with compass I was told that some of the batteries in the computers had somehow become magnetized which was what caused the compass to go crazy when near the computer in the console. They sent me a new battery and the compass does not become erratic when in proximity to the new battery. We'll see what happens when I replace the battery in the dive computer and install the compass in the console.

The clicks of each turn don’t land exactly flush with the number you are attempting to read, but great compass

GREAT !!!! I need readers under water its still hard to see most com's. This is a simple fix.

Works great. Make sure you put in straight and its hard to rotate after snapping it in the 3rd terminal slot on back of BC Computer.

Exactly what I needed to fill in the back part of my SWIV gauge console!

I did a lot of research before purchasing this compass and all the people I spoke to and a lot of the forums and reviews recommended this one - we have tried it out several times now and it is very "forgiving" in so far as you don't have to have it totally level for it to give you a true reading - it is very easy to read even in low light and we were told we were "spot on" with our navigation during our training :) The other thing I like is that it is very flexible - I like a clip mount and my husband likes a wrist mount - you can also put it in a console.
