Hair Oil by Lulu Organics with Argan Oil Lavender Scented 3.4 oz

My hairdresser sold me Moroccan hair oil which I had been using for a while. Although it worked pretty well, I was disappointed when I read the label and found odd sounding chemicals and unnecessary dyes. So when I found this hair oil, I was excited about its clean and natural ingredients. It works just as well as the Moroccan hair oil and I don’t have to worry about putting chemicals and artificial dyes onto my scalp. I actually brought it with me to my hair appointment and my hairdresser used it when styling my hair. She really liked it.It comes in a generous sized bottle and each application only takes a tiny amount so it should last a long time. I like the top (see photo) that allows only a few drops to come out at a time.

This makes a great deep conditioner since the first ingredient listed is olive oil which along with coconut oil has been shown to penetrate the hair shaft. On wash days I apply liberally from ponytail length to ends and twist my hair up into a bun for work. At the end of the day I shampoo my scalp and drench the ends in conditioner to remove the oil. The next day my hair is soft and moisturized but not greasy. The bottle is pretty too. My only complaint is that I wish they had more than one scent. Lavender and clary sage is a sharp clean fragrance. Hopefully Lulu Organics will make more hair oil scents to match their dry shampoos.

So I rarely order products on line cause I can't tell what it will be like when I get it. But I must say for starters it came RIGHT away! And when I opened it I love it right off. The packaging and imagery is gorgeous. And the scent is SO beautiful, deep earthy and powerful. I love the feel of the oil and how my hair responds. I have pretty frizzy hair and haven't taken very good care of it so it needs some good nourishment. And as someone who uses therapeutic high grade essential oils I know quality when I see it. Not something you find often. I highly recommend this for those looking for a delicious oil for healthy happy hair. Think I'm gonna get some for Holiday presents too cause it's so pretty :-)

I was really disappointed with the smell. The product does work well though to add shine and manageability to my thick, wavy hair. I just really wish it smelled better. I probably won't buy it again.

I use this oil everyday for about 6 months. Smell is a bit strong but goes away quickly. Seems to hydrate my dry ends well. Goes away after several hours so you need to re-apply. Good buy
