Summer Lifeguards

I gave this as a gift to a friend's daughter who was looking for a fun breezy read, and this book knocked it out of the ball park. Wholesome without being dated, and contemporary without being too advanced, this was the perfect book about young girls having fun on the beach in the summer. The fact that they are a diverse group of girls is a plus, and Carey deftly handles their differences without being heavy handed. Highly recommend.
