Soft as Butter, Cool to Sleep on
I haven't had these sheets long enough to say how they'll hold up with launderings, but for those who enjoy beautiful soft, cool, well-fitting bed sheets, these would seem to fit the bill.Made of soft sateen cotton, they are thinner and (IMO) more comfortable than heavier Egyptian cotton sheets. Be aware, these are not percale weave cotton sheets, so they shouldn't wrinkle as easily after drying. That said, finding grandma's "real" percale sheets today is like looking for the proverbial needle in the haystack. If and when they can be found, prices are usually crazy high.I bought nothing but Laura Ashley sheets from the '70s through the '90s and they lasted forever. As my bed sizes changed, I gave away many sets that appeared brand new, but were often 25 years old. Then I followed the lemmings who began buying more expensive Egyptian cotton sheets with high, high thread counts, thinking the new must be better. Wrong, for me at least.I recently bought a new deep mattress/springs and although my Egyptian sheets fit, they now feel heavy, slick, and way too warm for my sleep needs. Thus, I found this set of LA sateen sheets here on Amazon at a much better price point than in department stores, so after reading reviews I decided to try them. They aren't the same as the LA sheets of earlier years, but most of mine had been percale, so I'll probably edit my review after a few washings. Also, for comparison, I ordered a set of Ashley percale sheets due to be delivered today. I'll definitely compare them in an extension of this review or in one written solely for the percales. The sateen print I ordered is lovely, not too country-chic at all, and fits my deep mattress like a glove. Hopefully, the percale set will live up to its old reputation.

Back to the 70's
Got these because they reminded of the old Sears sheets from the 1970's. They didn't disappoint. Love them! I read they weren't soft, but honestly, once you wash them, they are fine. I'm guessing some people don't wash them prior to putting them on, so that's probably why. Anyway, get your 70's on and buy these!

Nice
Love the pattern of these sheets. They are not the softest sheets I’ve ever owned but were the exact pattern and color I was looking for to make a bad look extra pretty. Nowadays most sheets are such a high thread count we are spoiled by how soft they are! If you have to have extra actor soft sheets these are not the sheets for you. I have slept on them and they’re perfectly adequate for me.

Cotton sheets
These were on sale so I decided to give them a try. I am glad I did. They are good Cotton sheets. I don’t like microfiber so I always try to find cotton. These didn’t wrinkle when I got them out of the dryer. I have had them for several months and they are still holding up very well. I would recommend these for sure!

Fantastic Deal
I got these king size sheets on a deal, and I wish I had bought more, since the price has increased. They wash up nicely, are very soft, and don’t slip off the corners. Would definitely purchase again.

Nice soft sheets
Comfortable and fit our oversized mattress fine. Pretty print and soft fabric.

Comfortable sheets stay tucked with deeper mattress.
I was looking for sheets that were longer than normal so they would stay tucked in with our mattress that is deeper. After looking at lots of reviews I didn't feel confident in my selection but decided to just settle on these. I'm so glad I did. These are very comfortable to sleep on and they were plenty long and have stayed tucked in. In spite of all the negative reviews regarding wrinkling, I don't find this to be a problem....not sure if users were expecting their sheets to look ironed but a little wrinkling doesn't bother me especially since I don't find it to be excessive.

Pretty and Soft Sheets
First thing - these sheets are NOT percale, so the reason I'm giving four stars instead of five, for inaccurate advertising. They're a brushed cotton, so somewhere between percale and flannel in softness but have the texture and weight of a 300 count sheet. Having said that, they are beautiful and very comfortable. I have a gel mattress, so usually require deep pocket sheets. These fit nicely, and the pillow cases and top sheet are sized correctly to fit my queen bed and standard pillows perfectly. They washed up nicely, and I slept on them for the first time last night. They are incredibly soft and comfortable, and I am very picky about bedding. I think persons who like genuine cotton sheets will love these, but just don't expect percale. I think because they are a brushed cotton, they may not hold up as well as percale. We'll see.

Not worth the money
I am very disappointed and disgusted by these sheets. When I got them there was a smell to them and even after one was they still smell. They are so thin, there is no body to them, like the fieldcrest sheets I used to buy. They don’t make quality products these days.

Disappointed. Overpriced for the quality.
I must say these sheets are overpriced. If they were half the price I would give them a good review. The pattern is lovely but they fabric is not great and wrinkles badly.

Lovely Sheets
I had these sheets in flannel and I loved it so much, but it was double. I now have a queen mattress and wanted to buy them again but couldn’t find the flannel one, so I got these instead and after reading the previous I was a bit skeptical but I am glad I went with my gut as the sheet looks great and they are very soft but the wrinkles OMG, I just decided to leave it as is. They wash well and hopefully they don’t loose the quality. I would have still prefer the flannel over this one but no big deal.

Disappointed - bottom sheet not big enough.
The pattern and colour of this set is really beautiful. I'm not usually into florals but this makes me want to do my bedroom in a French Cottage design, and this pattern throughout.Despite that, I'm disappointed with the actual sheets. The thread count isn't high (which I knew) and these certainly aren't sateen; they're not 'rough' but they aren't as soft as they should be. They do feel great for summer though, very thin and light and breathable. (I automatically double-wash sheets when I receive them so there's no scent leftover from the dying/packaging process.)Then I put them on the bed - so tough. Our mattress is 13" deep and I've never had an issue with sheets fitting before. These barely make it to the bottom, maybe 1/2" under the mattress' bottom seam. But more concerning the sheets don't seem wide enough across the bed, nor long enough from end to end. I looked at the corner seams and they just don't have enough width - an extra inch in width and length is needed - maybe this is why the sheets aren't deep enough, because they already aren't wide or long enough. If these were an inch wider and longer, I'd be really happy with these as a summer set. So far they haven't pulled off the mattress, but I suspect over time that they'll be popping off, just because of how tight they are - the mattress corners are pulled down and slightly rounded with this bottom sheet on.
