Won't slip through to another number; Easy to use
I only give it a 4-rating (I wish I could give it a 4.5) because they are significantly larger than the traditional canister-counters (that can be tied to a project or placed on a needle), so keeping these larger counters with a project can be more of a challenge. That is the only reason, however. Compared to the tiny canister-counters , these counters are much more easy to change numbers, and are more likely to keep the number you set it on.

This is going to break
I know these are cheap pieces of plastic but I know they're going to break soon because they're extremely stiff and you have to push really hard to advance the counter. They're unlocked so that's not the problem. So they can only be used by manually advancing by turning the dials.

no battery to die
these are easy to use and no battery will die in the middle of a project which just happened to me.

My sister is very happy with this gift.
I got these analog stitch counters for my sister who likes to knit and crochet. She loves them because she can now see how many stitches she makes when crocheting, with more accurate results.

Great!
Easy to use and feels sturdy. I like the size because itβs easy to find when it slips between the couch cushions.
