Heat fluctuates / runs hot
I like that it had came with a lot of accessories. I wasn’t sure what the difference between this 10x10 4in1 red & the 5in1 blue 10x10, besides the price difference . I did purchase both & was only keeping one. They both are packaged as P1010 models. The red did run hotter & fluctuated in temperature more but it did have a different electrical schematic in its pamphlet that reflected it. There is labeling that was on top of unit also , so use with caution. The red long labeling was peeling off but the unit was sturdy. It also seems larger than the blue unit. I tried it on glitter & shiny iron on and kept the temperature & timer low( vibration off) from the recommended settings in the instructions. I believe this was worth the money especially if someone takes to learn the product. I also did try the mug & hat accessories to make sure they worked without the toggle switch that is shown in video & they did. I hope this review helps anyone who is planning on purchasing a unit.

Does the job
I got this machine because I wanted to get into sublimation and the hand press I was using didn’t get up to 400°. There are lots of plates so I can use this to sublimate hats or cups, too, which is exciting. The negatives - the temperature doesn’t stay consistent. If I need to sub something at 400°, I have to set it at 410° and it’ll usually hover around 403°.- The swing-away takes up SO much space. I will eventually find a clamshell or pop out option.- Literally no instructions in the box. I’m having to figure it all out as I go.- There’s something under the corner of the bottom plate that keeps snagging my shirts when I’m trying to press them.I haven’t decided if I’m going to return this yet. It does the job and the price was better than the other machines I looked at, but those negatives are a lot.

Awesome Customer Service!
I had been using this item for over a year and finally was able to use the hat press. Unfortunately 1 of the pieces was not the correct fit for the press. I contacted the company and they immediately started the process of getting me the correct piece. To my surprise, within days I had a new heat press waiting for me. Hats off to this company for going above and beyond!!! My deepest appreciation!

Just okay
Didn’t come with good directions/instructions. The timer has never worked. I usually just use the time on my Apple Watch. It does seem to heat well. I use this for crafting mostly using HTV. I don’t believe this would hold up to daily use.

It is a good exception to the Cricut brand
I liked that it was just as described and easy to use.Cons: The cup/mug connector does not fit regular 8 ox mugs. The mugs are wider than the locking mechanism on the cup connector. You have to hold this closed the entire time you are transferring. Also, It doesn't heat up enough to transfer the ink properly. I used this on a test cup and could never get the ink to transfer all the way. It was extremely faded and there were areas on the coup that did not transfer at all. I tried several different patterns of the Cricut infusible ink paper on different parts of the cup. I let it go as long as 30 minutes without disturbing it. That 30 minutes did seem to transfer darker, but saying that, red came out a variation of whitish pink. Black came out sort of brown.I have not yet tried the hat connector. I am almost certain I will have better luck with it than with the mug connector because you can apply pressure to the hat.The Heat Press does work relatively well. I got this because it was the entire set in one box, unlike Cricut which makes you purchase everything separately, making this a very expensive hobby! The cost of this unit makes it more affordable! I will see if there is anything I can use different to make that cup connector work better.

It’s random…
I ordered a blue 15x12 8 in 1. It came to me as a red 15x11.5... If you have to have instructions on how to build things, this isn’t for you. It doesn’t come with the little wrench and screw driver. It does not lift up and swing away it just swings away. Make sure you have plenty of spec to swing otherwise you will find yourself struggling to put your shirt or whatever on these mats… Still trying to figure out the little power box. Tried a test press, and the shirt looks AMAZING (1 layer). The adjusting screw is horrible and doesn’t spin right. Came with busted foam like someone was angry when they packed it. Haven’t tried the accessories yet.

Vevor Heat Press
The heat press was very hard to open once I closed it to sublimate. The biggest problem was Vevor's customer service. Since I purchased it from Amazon and not directly from Vevor, Vevor didn't answer any of my questions. They referred me back to Amazon. When I called Vevor again, they were so busy the phone just hung up. The next time I called, I was the 30th person in line to be helped. When I called on 6/11/23, I was the 81st person in line to be helped. I won't buy from Vevor again because their customer service is !@#$%.

Overall Great little press
Purchased in 2019... Has been a GREAT heat press... I do recommend bolting it down to your surface as sometimes the swing away action will cause it to try and topple.... Have used this machine SOOOO much and loved it... until recently... not sure what happened to it, it will not stay on, the safety breaker trips every time I turn it on. I have reached out to the company for resolution, hopefully this will resolved soon.I have used the cup/mug attachment often.. I have never used the plate press or the hat press because I have not felt like taking it apart to install the other components but the mug press option is a simple cord swap vs taking off the whole top section. I think I will be purchasing a hat press specifically for hats rather than using this feature on this press but once this press is fixed, I will continue using the attachment for mugs!In hindsight, I do wish I had purchased a larger 15x15 plate, perhaps even a slide out so if your just now shopping you might want to consider those options but honestly. Not disappointed with this press at all for all it does.
