Like others noted, the glow sticks come in a heavy tube lined with bubble wrap but that isn’t enough. As soon as I opened the tube I saw 8 were already activated. I tested another glow stick and found only half of it activated, the other half had already burned out. I reached out to seller and they basically said it wasn’t their problem. I have bought other glow sticks many times before from Amazon and never seen a problem this bad. Save yourself the trouble of returning these and look for a different product.

I have owned my entertainment business for 20+ years. I buy everything from inflatable games to glow items. I usually buy my Glow Sticks form Windy City Novelty. I saw these for a better deal and decided to pop on it. Now I know why it's so cheap.Shipping packaging is pure GARBAGE. No bubble wrap, no inserts. Just laying loose in a poor grade box.When I opened I saw that the tubes were open and sticks were all over the place. Some broken. I tested a few and they are very dim, not bright at all. What this tells me is...these are sitting in a non climate controlled building and getting worn out. These are garbage and will not be purchases again from these guys.

This is a great value for a lot of glow necklaces. The colors are bright and they glow all night long. We use them to hand out to kids when we're camping - it's a great way to keep track of them in the dark.They are shipped in a shipping tube lined with bubble wrap, so they generally arrive in good shape. However, there were about 5 in the tube that didn't light up all the way, and one that was a complete dud.Each glow stick comes with one tiny clear plastic connector (pre-attached to one end) for making it into a necklace, although kids also love to string them together end to end to make other shapes. Save a handful of connectors from your used glow sticks so that you'll have spares when the little connectors inevitably get lost.

This is the third year in a row that I have ordered these and we are never disappointed. We use these for glow-in-the-dark events with teens and they love them. They last for hours. We've even saved unused ones for a year or more and they are still just as bright (there might be a few air bubbles, but you can work most of these to one end or the other). If there was one weakness in these, it is the connectors. You have to be careful putting the necklace ends in and make sure both ends are equally within the connector. Yes, we've had some break and, yes, we've had some color spillage, but nothing that is too difficult to overcome for resilient teens.

I regularly buy these to give out on Halloween along with candy. They are very popular-I ran out pretty quickly this last year! The kids love to pick out their color. Of the 50 necklaces, there were one or two that didn't light all the way up (only halfway or three quarters of the way) but it wasn't many. The biggest complaint I have with these is the plastic connectors break really easily. I broke several of the connectors and had to wrap tape around them so that they would hold the necklace. I will still purchase these for parties and Halloween again in the future. I just have to be gentle when putting in the connectors.
