Southern Grind Bad Monkey Folding Knife w/ Emerson Drop Point Black Blade & Carbon Fiber Handle

This is a large knife. Very sharp, grind lines fit and finish all excellent very impressed. I have not had a knife with the Emerson opener before but am liking it so far. Comes out with blade deployed as long as I get my grip right. The small pocket clip holds tight on jeans and my cargo shorts no worry's about it slipping off. I would recommend you go look at Southern Grinds site and buy with confidence.The seller put the knife in its box loose in a amazon box with zero bubble wrap, The knife was thankfully well padded in its factory box, Would not take much for seller to package it so it wasn't loose in the shipping box. I will buy direct from the company next time, With my veteran discount it would be about the same price and I expect it would be better packed.

One minor minor scratch on the finish of the blade. A bit sticky on the action. But overall impressed with this knife, have been using it as an EDC for a couple months now. Great sharpness right out of the box, feels real beefy in the hand. Quality knife overall. First time I have ever paid more than 20-30 bucks for a knife, worth the money in my opinion.Update. Edge retention fell off a bit. Action never fully warmed up. Still great overall with love and care. 4.5stars

This is my third Southern Grind knife and it does not disappoint. I collect knifes and you can just tell that these are quality knifes with great workmanship. Feel solid in your hands and the blades are razor sharp. They cost more than most pocket knifes but they are well worth it. You get what you pay for and with these you get quality.

Great for a EDC workhorse. The pocket wave works like a dream. The pocket clip works better on the Bad Monkey than the Spider monkey... the liner lock was sticking a little but it gets better with time.

I drunk-ordered a 2nd Bad Monkey satin blade knife...and, I got a call saying their inventory update wasn't up to date, so, we agreed to cancel the order....a month later, the Bad Monkey arrives....and, HOW could I possibly send it back?This is the finest 4" pocket knife at $250...it's also the finest at 3X that.

This thing is awesome! I have owned many knives but this by far is one of the best I have seen! the attention to detail and craftsmanship is present throughout the blade. I would not hesitate to buy or recommend.

These are very good knives, but the company is non existent. The tumb screw came loose and got lost, I am happy to even purchase a new one, but the company does not respond to emails and is completely un-responsive. very disappointing.
