Turkish Delight History of Turkish delight dates back to 500 years; making Turkish Delight one of the oldest sweets in the world. Unique taste combine with MASTIC! Our fruit-and-nut candies are actually derived from lokum turkish delight (locoum), also known as Turkish Delight...a beloved delicacy of the Meditterenian. Made since the 15th century, the aromatic flavors of these timeless treats have been celebrated in literature, music, and performances around the world. Now we've crafted our own version of Turkish Delight using some of the traditional flavors which made it famous. Turkish Delight makes a magical and memorable gift for those seeking out new tasting adventures!

Not what I was expecting
Was looking for ways to get Turkish delight similar to what is served at a favorite cafe of mine. The pictures and descriptions looked very similar, and I LOVE the Cafe's Turkish delight, so I figured I would forget about the steep price tag and get it as a present for a family member. When it arrived, the powder had already gotten all over the box and was coming through the plastic wrapping. So, the presentation was not the most elegant. I tried to wipe it off the best I could before I gave it to my loved one. When he tried it, he said I could keep it because it tasted horrible. Indeed, I tried a piece, and thought it was perfectly edible, but the taste and texture were not my preference. It has a strong black licorice taste, which I was not expecting. I didn't think it was worth returning it, so I kept it in my pantry until I threw it out because no one would eat any pieces. A bit disappointed about the whole experience and learned my lesson to ask for recipes instead of ordering online.

Next Foodie Obsession??
Like many North Americans, I was unfamiliar with the ingredient called "mastic". I had heard this word only in the context of construction adhesives! I did some reading about it and decided I must give it a try.I tried to find the highest quality product I could, to get the most authentic experience possible for a person living in Pennsylvania. I settled on this Turkish delight. How glad I am that I did!It will establish the degree of my pleasure to note that i ordered a second box of Mughe mastic confections less than a week after trying my first bite. I fell in love with the mysterious mastic flavor, which is a light, resinous, woodsy taste; not heavy-handed, but quite sophisticated. I am amazed that this naturally-derived ingredient is not the darling of the western food culture. Maybe it soon will be! Perhaps it will be "re-branded" with a charming new name, like 'mastiha', 'bakha', or 'chios resin'. You saw it here first!!!I have no doubt that a third order of Mughe Mastic Delight (so I think of it) will follow my second. That is my endorsement. Thanks, Mughe Gourmet, and the Amazon international shopping opportunity, for this discovery .

Pretty box and pleasing taste.
It was a very different taste, but enjoyable. I will not order again because it was in a small box, and very expensive. I was curious about it, and I am glad to have given it a try.

a bit disappointed
had good expectations based on correspondence and followup of vendor. I was disappointed that though the seal was intact that the product was a bit dried out. they had a bit of a sunken in look, still edible and the flavor was ok. I'm not a fan of nuts so I migrate to the nut free ones, maybe those are slower movers

She said it was okay but tasty a lot like ginger. I wasn't expecting that
my daughter's class had it when finishing Narnia. She said it was okay but tasty a lot like ginger. I wasn't expecting that. So good if you like ginger flavor! Delivery & price were great.

A Sour Taste from the Experience
I bought this pack because I love the Mastic Gum flavour and because unlike their other packs it was 450g (16oz) packI am a bit upset because what I receive was a 340g pack !! As described in photo attached!!I contacted the seller who empathised, offered to not-do anything but referred me to the international manufacturer without a referral !!!!I object to being treated by an ‘agent’ who takes little interest in me, the product, or the manufacturer!!!The product is very delicious but the taste now has been soured !!!Regretfully

Up to expectations.
It has a good flavour of (resinous) mastic. It's subtle, and changes in your mouth. It's also a long lasting and lingering flavour in the mouth, and I've never had a box of Turkish Delight last so long! No glucose syrup in the ingredients, so no big sweet shock for the body.

Slowly they release their sweetness
An unusual flavor hits your mouth as soon as you start to chew it.And it's certainly chewy, exercising your jaw muscles. But slowly the sweetness starts to emerge. They are delicious. 😋😋For those who dislike intense sweetness they are perfect!
