This Bijou pendant is pretty although it is smaller than I expected. It is about the size of a dime or smaller. It has a classic design. The stone is a dark sapphire surrounded by clear stones. The chain is stainless steel. It looks more expensive than it is, but is really affordable (around $69 on Amazon). Not to mention it would make a nice gift for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day or a birthday.

As soon as you open this, you can tell it's not crystal costume jewelry, which tends to be on the larger and more audacious side. I had seen other reviews say the chain was too short, but I didn't think this to be so, and while the clasp was difficult for me to put on alone, the pendant hangs just below the hollow of my throat. It is, however, not very adjustable as there are only two loops, about an inch apart, to clasp.This is beautifully dainty, and the color is a rich blue. It comes double packaged in a jewelry box with a cleaning cloth.

Beautiful necklace! Looks and feels so high end. lays great on the neck line. It really can be paired with anything. I wore it to work with business casual attire and it looked great.

First of all, I ordered the blue necklace, but I ended up with the red one instead. I never would have gotten the red one on my own, and at first, I was not happy at all. The red one has started to grow on me, though. Maybe, it was a lucky mistake that I was sent the wrong one since that made me evaluate a necklace that I likely would not normally get for myself.Overall, I would say that this is a nice necklace. The gem is fairly small, but it's not so small that seems like it was meant for a child. I would say that the size is good for someone who doesn't like big, bulky jewelry. For me, it's the perfect size.My one complaint would be the chain. Originally, it looked really short, but it's actually a decent length. The clasp is not great, though. It's really small, and I've had trouble getting the necklace put together. The first time I wore it, I thought that it was secure. Then about fifteen minutes later, it started sliding down my neck. Luckily, I noticed it before I'd lost the necklace. Since then, I've given the necklace a little extra tug when I've put it on, just to be sure that it really is secure. You may want to buy a different chain if you get this necklace.
