I ordered the Apple rapid peeler two days ago and with Prime of course I got it today which I was really happy about! I had just bought some nice shiny apples and was waiting for the peeler to arrive. I had just bought some nice shiny apples and was waiting for the pillar to come in. The peeler is made of good quality material and is not cheaply made like some of the other ones on the market. Yesterday I received an email with a JPEG that I could print out showing how to use the gadget. It was so easy to use as you can see! The suction cups on the bottom of the gadget stick nicely to my countertop. My Apple was peeled and the only thing left was a little thin ribbon of the Apple rind. While I am a country girl, I call myself the gadget queen because I love new gadgets! I would recommend this one for anyone who is tired of using a knife to peel off the skin from their apples. I have not tried it on oranges yet but I don't see that there will be a problem with this little gadget peeling an orange nicely! I would highly recommend this little gadget!

This apple peeler (shaver?) works better on round apples than it does on misshapen ones like you might pick from a backyard tree or on an average potato. If the razor head was designed to ride on the fruit or vegetable better, I think it'd probably do a better job of removing a peel. The handle is removable which is nice but it also tends to pop off during use which isn't so nice. So far I've peeled about 2 dozen apples for my dehydrator and maybe 6 potatoes and I've had some fun doing it, accepting the bits of missed skin as "character", but if I had to do it again, I probably wouldn't choose this peeler.

I really like the peeler I would give it 5 stars I thought I had already reviewed it but I guess I did not. At first I would have given it 5 stars but after the first use the handle keeps coming out, yes I make certain it is connected. One day I peeled 8 apples out of that 5 did peel with 3 did not peel and it would not let me try to re-peel it. BUT....it still peels much faster than by hand. I was disappointed it would not peel/skin oranges and lemons for marmalade. These were firm not soft fruits.I love it, would highly recommend it and the company. I did receive it much quicker than promised. It has a few quirks nothing I can't get over. I will probably order another one from them.

THIS PEELER DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, I HAD PEARS AND APPLES, WITH VERY THIN SKIN AND IT DIDN'T GO THROUGH ANY OF IT. I USED IT FOR LESS THAN 5 MINUTES TO TRY IT OUT AND IT STARTED TO STRIP OUT THE HANDLE. I have 2 cases of apples thinking it would go easy now back to by hand, arthritis is the reason I chose this product, Don't by it!!!

Bought this for my mom to replace our old plastic Johnny Appleseed peeler that was popular in the 1990s and finally kicked the bucket this year. This is a perfect replacement that is very similar but even better with metal prongs. Great product with approval from a family that makes lots of apple crisp and apple pies!

The peeler works just great. Some apples have a thicker skin and cause the blade to hang up. A gentle twist with your hand solves this. The handle does tend to come off while turning, but that's not a problem. All in all great product and peels fast. A single apple can be peeled in seconds.

This apple peeler never worked right. It left a gouged out section through the apple and no peeling. The first time I used it was 30 days after I bought it and no longer available for return.

Doesn't stick to the counter. Moves all over the place. Looks, works and feels like a toy, a bad one. Sorry guys. On top of everything there was an error in the order and 2 came instead of one.
