I modified this medicine cabinet to open from the right to fit in the depicted cubby in my RV. Left-opening was not going to allow easy access. Perfect fit & functionality!!To do the mod, I had to use a 90 degree step drill bit to create the matching top & bottom hinge holes on the opposite side. No way to get a normal drill in there. You can’t just flip the cabinet (and the glass) upside down because the shelves have a down-folding lip that wouldn’t work upside down (I tried that first). The magnet latch was easy to move as there were tiny matching pre-drilled holes X 4 at the end of (& under) each shelf to accommodate this. The metal glass tab was fairly easy to move/unstick to align with the magnet latch’s new location on the right.Only issue was that the fogged glass surface (rogher) is now in the outside so that the cross remains in the original (higher) location. If you don’t mind the cross being lower, then the smooth side can be on the outside which will allow for easier cleaning.My suggestion to the manufacturer is to drill two matching hinge holes on the opposite side so that this cabinet can be both left or right opening. Also, center the cross so it won’t be high or low regardless of opening side, and thus allow for the smooth glass finish to always be on the outside. There are many applications which may require a right-opening cabinet and it can be marketed as an ambidextrous cabinet. You can send me another cabinet in exchange for this brilliant idea :)

I love this thing!!! I suffer from chronic pain so it's perfect for all my pills to be kept in and safe from kids!

The first aid cross logo is etched into the glass slightly crooked, and the shelf immediately behind it is also mounted crooked, but in the opposite direction. This makes the appearance of the crookedness even more pronounced when the door is closed, and is annoying to the OCD in me.The gauge of steel used in this is very, very thin, at the absolute bare minimum to retain structural integrity. Will dent, deform, and twist very easily.The glass door was slightly damaged near the lower hinge, and there were extremely sharp glass fragments throughout the interior of the cabinet when I unboxed it. I had to carefully vacuum it out before handling it any further. If this was due to manufacturing or shipping, I am not sure, but it is certainly something to carefully check for once it arrives.Comes with 4 keys for the lock, so that would definitely be a plus for those needing to lock the cabinet.Unfortunately, it's rather overpriced, as a larger cabinet in the same style is available for LESS money than this one at the time of writing this review.
