Good Schmitt - Strawberry•Beach Rose•Moscato

Strawberry, Beach Rose and Moscato Wine Preserve arrived today. So this is my first impression of The Strawberry, Beach Rose and Moscato Wine Preserve. Tried it on buttered toast. It tasted good, but I was surprised that it was a bit on the thin side. I think is would be better on maybe pancakes or french toast. It has the consistency of syrup more than a jam, preserve, or jelly. It says in the ad that it has half the sugar maybe so I really can't tell. All I know is I can't wait to try it on other things like maybe ice cream or the key ingredients in a shake. But for me I think it is too much on the runny side to be used as the topping for butter or maybe cream cheese toast/muffin etc. Can't wait to try the others!The reason I chose this as the first was because of the roses. I used to have rose hips in my yard and wondered how they would taste in a jam or jelly but never was able to collect enough of them to try making it.

Delicious in every variety-- great on toast or ice cream and low in calorie!!!

Very watery will never buy this again

too thin.....watery...not good tasting at all......for being "half the sugar" very sweet!!! Threw it away!!

I am obsessed with this jam! The mix of flavors are perfect. I put it on everything. Its a great value too!

gave as a gift - she loved it!

I haven't ordered this yet, will do so. I intend to thicken it with a variety of traditional jam products. I trust if it tastes "good" it's worth the try.
