Hidden Gem!
I purchased this knife solely on it's unique looks. Once I received the blade, I was happily surprised by how well it was crafted and the "out of the box" sharpness of the edge! It's a beautiful knife. Knife enthusiasts well know that "unknown" knives "made in China/Pakistan/India" can be hit or miss, but this one is definitely a hit! The polished D2 steel blade is flawless. The Ebony wood handles are impeccable. No blade wobble or gaps in the seams. I'd buy from this company again.

Very nice for the price
As far as $20 knifes go, this one blows others I’ve seen away. I think it performs like a $40 to $70 knife. It’s gorgeous too. Only wish it was easier to tell which side is the sharp side when it’s sheathed 😂 the blade is very thick which makes it feel hefty and durable. I dropped it a few times and it’s fine (that’s the other draw back. There is no way to fasten it to your belt unless you have a traditional obi 😂)

Sticks in the wooden sheath
This knife is certainly an "okay" value if you want a large tanto, but it's a bit of a matter of form over function: The smooth, slick wooden handle of the knife does not lend itself well to maintaining a grip, and the wooden sheath binds/sticks on the blade when you insert or retract the blade from the sheath. I thought I'd like the style of the knife, but I returned it to get something certainly less attractive, but far more functional.

Can’t beat the value for the money
I normally don’t write reviews but best value for the money by far!

Actual trash
This knife is extremely weak, I was hoping for a lot more but simply stabbing it into a wooden cutting board broke the tip. The metal used is very soft, overall this thing looks neat but I wouldn't recommend using it for anything.

Great purchase, no QC issues here.
Quick, but honest Review:Is it perfect? No.Is it sturdy? Yes, and quite heavy. While others had QC issues, my blade came out perfectly. No issues with the wooden sheath or handle. The blade was clean and straight. It did not come extremely sharp out of the box, but after a couple passes with my ceramic sharpener, it was able to slice paper with fair ease, but I would add, it's definitely not the sharpest blade I have, or even close..It has good weight to it, and assuming it is in fact D2, or a related Chinese metal, I have to presume this is a great deal. It was not super easy to sharpen like some of my cheaper blades (7cr, 420 and 440 variants) but that would be expected to my knowledge. Is it perfect? No, around the bolster/guard etc, shows some poor finishing, and I am unable to know for sure it if it 100% full tang, but appears to be.Unfortunately, given the seller and where the knife comes from, there is little accountability or way to verify the steel. Hoping this is in fact D2, but it holds a decent edge nonetheless, and is sturdy enough to cut through blocks of timber, and slice paper.Nonetheless, still very beautiful for what it is worth.

Great value out of the box
The knife is made in china but is razor sharp out of the box. Everything fits well, nothing is loose. The sheath is great, no rattle and the blade won't move . Its an hollow grind and the steel is decent. The hardness should help it keep an edge but just keep it oiled. Its gonna be a ruster.

Super sharp, perfect fit.
The sheath fits snugly and the blade is very sharp. Inexpensive for such a knife, but the quality feels heavy and polished. Great compact design to bring camping.

Sharp and Sturdy with a comfortable grip
First, I can see where others have mentioned, the sheath is glued together. Mine feels solid but I can see where wear may be a problem in time. Also the sheath is VERY tight and the blade needs to be inserted in the correct direction. That being said the handle is comofrtable to hold and I like the overall balance point, which makesthis altogether easy to handle. The blade itself came sharp right out of the box and is well able to punch through doubled peices of cardboard, slice through paper and shave strips off firewood.
