Batman Omnibus 2

This is a great place to start if you're new to Batman like I was. After finishing the first story arc of Court of Owls I was IN LOVE. I had to get my hands on what I'd been missing out on all these years as a self proclaimed "marvel guy". This book, and the art is amazing and truly made me a Batman fan singlehandedly. Court of Owls is visceral, and at times unsettling with some of its plot devices, in the best detectivey ways.

Very interesting stories compiled into this omnibus. This and the first volume were my start to reading comics and it was so good I couldn’t put it down

Amazing binding just like the first edition, beautiful artwork, and a cohesive story that wasn’t confusing to follow.

Nice book thick paper art is good

You need to storage this on your shelves will have a lot of classics here in a few years.

Amazon did their part !! Good packaging and good condition.The book is smaller than vol 1 but I feel it’s built better than the first book. Maybe it’s because it is smaller. Love the art and writing for this series.

At 65 years of age,I have been reading DC / Marvel comics off and on since I was 8..a long time.It seems that this book and this writer in particular are writing stuff for a mature well educated audience not the more down to earth stuff of a few years ago..Basically showing off how clever they are,Now I consider myself pretty well read but there are things in this book that are way beyond me..So how are you going to get a new younger audience to latch on and keep the Dark Knight going for another generation of young readers.Maybe DC will wake up and realise best selling authors should stick to writing books and leave the comics / graphic novels to writers who don't feel the need to show off to their adult friends.A waste of time and money.Also you would think with Bruce Wayne / BATMAN's resources..he could afford a Bat Kitchen in the bat cave so he could have a snack..when he wanted and not let prepared meals go to waste.and although too late for Alfred to use...save all the coming and goings up and down the stairs.Amazing how much science,Physics,engineering and biology etc the young Bruce Wayne is supposed to have picked up on his travels.Travels originally meant to improve his self defence ,fighting skills.Blooming awful stuff..a trial to read.GOTHAM the TV series gives more about the "Super Villains !" past away..We get endless alt covers in space that could have been used,for just that purpose.
