Awesome product!!
The level of detail is like no other! The designers did a fantastic job with this item!It was a bit smaller than I expected it to be, but that does not take away the joy of playing this this very lifelike reproduction. My 4-year-old son does not let this thing out of his sight! An instant favorite!Tail, legs, arms and neck do not move, but the mouth does open and close to reveal VERY lifelike teeth and mouth! When the mouth closes, it completely hides the teeth and this raptor almost looks FRIENDLY! But his carnivorous disposition emerges when his mouth opens to reveal his dagger-toothed smile.Truly, a real work of art!

Great product, highly recommend.
These dinosaur figures are beautifully painted, high quality molds. I love the moving jaw and the fine detail inside the mouth. I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking to collect dinosaur figures or like me are looking for a great toy to buy for that particular child that loves dinosuars. These model figures may not walk or make sound but you can't beat the quality and from what I've seen as soon as a kid picks one of these dinosaurs up their imagination does the rest.

Great detail with fixable paint job
The item is really great, BUT it has the worst while detailing on it. Luckily that is an easy fix if you are artistic (and even so for those who are not). I just used brown/green paint and a tiny paint brush to cover the white lines. Just blend the colors into the preexisting paint scheme and finish with a sealer for protection. It only took a few minutes to fix and looks perfect now. However, if you are buying it for a kid to use as a toy, they probably won't care.

Another great Papo dinosaur!
As a Jurassic Park fan, I love the dinosaur line Papo has provided us with. The velociraptor is no exception. The detail, as usual, is gorgeous, with minuscule scales covering the body and a nice bluish-grey color scheme. The only problem I had was that fairly soon after I took mine out of her packaging, her legs started to point inward, making her tough to stand. I fixed it fairly easily with some pressure on the legs, though. Despite the inaccuracies around the Jurassic Park raptor on its own (it should be DEINONYCHUS) I highly recommend this great looking figure.

Nearly perfect representation of the JP raptor
Great sculpt, identical to what the Jurassic park dinosaurs are like (from the movie). My girlfriend surprised me with the stegosaurus from the Papo collection, and I was shocked at the quality and felt as if I were reliving that excitement over dinosaurs that I had as a child all over again. This is the best you can get when trying to get a realistic looking raptor, it may not be perfect considering the slight flaw in the paint around the neck but it's the best paint job I've seen on anything like this. I am slowly adding to my Papo dinosaur collection and cannot wait to see what they come up with next -Brachiosaurus, please-As a side note, I am 24 years old and totally embrace whatever it was that enabled me to find excitement over these things, I decorate my bookshelf with them and am nearly obsessed with the Papo line. Up until now, I always thought Carnegie was the best they would get; I was wrong. These are simply amazing, I realize this after nearly 15 years of zero interest in such things. I currently own the Raptor and Stego, my next one to get will be the T-rex; I got over his awkward stance thing.

Definitely Worth It
Bought the raptor as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend with the idea of repainting it to resemble Blue from JW. The figure is on the small side and the paint job is a bit underwhelming but the anatomy and attention to detail is almost perfect. The Jaw moves without problem and doesn't feel as light weighted or as fragile as it looks.I won't be surprised if my boyfriend tries to find the JW trademark symbol, thinking it's a licensed product. I own other Papo figures and the brand is my favorite due to their accurate details. Definitely a figure worth buying for any dinosaur fan.

Papo is the ultimate brand of quality dinosaurs
After having bought the adult T Rex for my 3 year old grandson's birthday at Toys R Us, and being amazed at the quality of the dino...and noticing that he absolutely LOVED the Papo dinosaur even more than his bucket of other dinosaurs (including the Animal Planet bucket and random other dinosaur sets), I decided that Papo was the way to go. I bought the baby T Rex and this Raptor for him for Christmas. With the working jaw and the quality heavy, durable plastic? rubber? materials, as well as the fantastic paint job...these dinos are top quality and worth the money. If there is a dino lover in your house, and you want them to have the best dinos out there...this is the brand to go with. I've even seen YouTube videos that showcase the awesome paintjobs and lifelike details of these dinos. They are THAT awesome.

Sculpt is great! Paint job not as much.
The sculpt is gorgeous. Unfortunately, like many others have stated, the paint job is horrible. Not only is the "five circles and two triangles" design bad, the paint is thick and splotchy in a couple of areas and obscures the nice sculpt. Fortunately, I plan on repainting the ones I have. One of three of the velociraptors also has a bad seam in his neck (not too bad, but noticeable). Overall, it's a great value for your money solely for its detailed sculpt.
