Cool and durable little instrument
Firstly, I must admit that I bought this on a whim, and only so that my order would add up to $35 and I'd qualify for free shipping. But it works fine, no problems here, sounds like a kazoo alright. I often do recordings just for the fun of it and used this kazoo just as a background to my guitar and harmonica in a recording, and it really added something and fit in quite nice. It's considered a party favor, yes, but it's also an instrument, especially if you want to make it bluesy wit some slight modifications. The red paint on the bottom is already wearing off, but I don't really care too much, just letting you know in case you for some odd reason do. The actual structure of the kazoo is solid and I expect will last forever (not sure if the plastic inside the resonator will, though, only time will tell).

Whahoo Kazoos!
I bought four of the Toysmith metal kazoos for a little extra Christmas gift for our grandchildren (6, 6, 8, and 9), and they were not allowed to open the boxes until all of the kids were together. The boxes were picked up, shaken, inspected, and placed back under the tree or into secret hiding places several times over the course of Christmas day. The suspense was almost overwhelming - and the surprise was worth waiting for. With a short lesson on care, including an admonishment to not blow too hard or to poke anything into the fragile paper, and a brief "how to" lesson, they exited to the basement to practice and to develop a concert. They posted a program including song titles and presenting "soloists" as required, and back-ups were worked out. They played many carols for us, including kid-friendly Rudolph, Frosty, and Jingle Bells and even Silent Night (which it wasn't), and we had such a great time watching them. The kazoos were sturdy and I can attest they worked well the rest of the time they were "home". We were incredulous at the hours of tootling happiness and imaginative play those inexpensive little toys brought and breathed a sigh of relief as the kazoos went off to their new homes. A brilliant purchase......who knew!

Anything but NEATO
This was the biggest most disappointing stocking stuffer of all time. It doesn't play. It is not an instrument. It is now a Christmas ornament that reminds us how disappointing 2021 really was. While it is durable and heavier, the flimsy plastic kazoos play better and produce better sound. Don't waste your money unless you looking for a decorative ornament.

Delightfully Loud and Annoying
Not extremely well made (obviously), but served it's purpose: to annoy the F out of my brother as my nephew runs through the house playing it.10/10 will buy again when the first one ends up broken, missing, or in the trash.

Great Kazoo!! Love them!
When my daughter played high school basketball there were times when the band was unable to be at the games. We came up with the idea of using Kazoos to play the school song at the games to make it fun and to motivate the team. It caught on like crazy and before long we had a whole group playing!! My mother, who had arthritis in her hands and couldn't clap, loved it because she was able to use her hands to do something!! When she passed away, we wanted to honor her, so we give a scholarship every year to the high school in her name. It is for the student who shows the most school spirit during the year, and it's called the Golden Kazoo Award!! So these Kazoos are perfect for our awards night!!! And they play GREAT!!
