Works will a Dell Inspiron 15 (i3543)
Works great with my Dell Inspiron 15 3000 Series (i3543 specifically). This is a newer model Dell and finding an Adaptor description that matched the product exactly to our laptop was not always easy. I did a bit of research and figured that this would work. It did. I have only used it a few days but it seems well made. More compact than others that I have had. Made in China, of course.

Dell "replacement" power supply
When purchasing a Dell "replacement" power supply you have to be very careful of being sold a fake.My puppy made a mess of the low voltage cable on the original power supply and this is the replacement.I read a few reviews about people ordering a Dell replacement and receiving a fake.I received what I ordered, it arrived in a timely manner and works great.To make sure I don't have to replace it again, I put the power supply away when not in use.

it was a genuine Dell replacement!!!
Don't pay attention to the older reviews dating before January 2017. I have purchased 2 of these due to our dog chewing them up. The first one I bought in February 2016 and it was a generic replacement for $8.97, it worked fine but i had to replace it due to the dog again. I went thru my history and hit the buy it again but the price was $27.xx this time. When it arrived it was a genuine Dell charger like my original one that came with the laptop. So the reviews that say not was what was pictured are incorrect now. It is a genuine dell replacement at the current price of $27.xx and not $8.97 like the other ones were.

The ordering and shipping went smoothly and I was very happy with the transaction. When I first received the item, it worked wonderfully. As I have now used it about a month or so, it isn't working as well as it did initially. Not sure if it is cheaply made or if this is normal but I foresee having to purchase another one in the near future.
