I have these attached to the zipper pull on my purses.

I gave my friend one, my sister a few, and kept one to keep on my keychain alongside my pocketknife and work keys on my belt loop, so it's been fairly beaten up but has survived just fine. The opening will stretch slightly which makes your chapstick less secure but I'm not too worried about losing it. Gone are the days of accidentally sending a chapstick through the laundry in my pocket!
