Suburban 161111 Gas Valve

Well made, exact match, worked perfect when installed.

Easy install

I had previously purchased one from Ebay and it turned out to be defective . This one is still working fine.

As described. Relatively simple switch out. An installation/description page would be helpful to someone not familiar.

Perfect replacement for my old RV's water heater (Suburban SW10PE). The old gas valve had failed.. the pilot would light but main burner wouldn't come on at all.Worth noting that the plastic covering on the temperature probe (the part that goes inside the tank) is somewhat fragile. The old one failed because the female threads in the tank had cut apparently through the covering while it was being installed, which allowed water to leak into the gas valve itself. So, use caution when installing not to damage the plastic.

We did it ourselves in installing this. Not too difficult.

Works. Long story, but it turned out the valve was not the problem. Already had it on tho. It was a basic R&R with no problems. Good product, exact replacement.

Easy to install and works great the first time I tested it in my drive way. Let it run making hot water for 5 hours, everything was great. 5 months later, I go camping with it and it fails, flame is lathargic and pilot goes out when it finally lites the propane that has to build inside the tube and only produces a lathargic flame from the jet and the pilot goes completely out and 5 minutes later, the thermostat times out and goes off. Very disappointed with only having a 30 day warranty and now stuck with a manufacture defective part that only worked once and only for its test run not for the time it was needed. Amazon needs to rethink their support and warranty issues on automotive parts, I believe they should have at least a one year warranty on automotive parts for the fact that the buyer should be able to get at least one use for the part before it's issues arise

This was exactly what I was looking for. Very easy to install. Works perfectly.

This was exactly what I wanted and was a lot cheaper than what the R V dealerships wanted for the same product.

Disappointed. Worked for 1 weekend and stopped despite multiple attempts to correct issue.
