This is what I was pretty much what I expected and I have ordered a second for another room. It is kind of a pain to store but it gets the job done.

when I took care of my grandbaby, and carried her around in the baby carrier, I could not bend down to pick things up, but I could with the grabber! And she found it fascinating, lol. Also, when the dog gets his toys stuck behind the couch, it saves a lot of work.

Will simplify your life and worth it. I use mine at work. I just wish it was a little more agile in the claw, but other than that, no complaints.

I don't consider myself as elderly, just short! My gentle giants are not home, usually when I need something from a high place. So I got the grab stick, and use that to grab stuff. Over very happy with the purchase! Personally, I'd remove the elderly reference in the headline for this item. It can be used by anyone!
