The Essential Wrapped In Plastic: Pathways to Twin Peaks

Only half way through this before series 3 starts on Sky Atlantic and what I've read so far is really interesting, informative and certainly helps explain the complete and utter weirdness of Twin Peaks! Despite having the DVDs of series 1&2 this book helps to fill in some of the blanks the viewer is often left with, especially after David Lynch admits to leaving the mystery of who killed Laura Parker almost open ended right up to the last. A great read and any TP fan will enjoy it. Recommended.

John Thorne is a true scholar of Twin Peaks. This book provides highlights from the now-defunct but excellent Wrappen In Plastic magazine. John is also a great presence on a number of podcasts and the new Blue Rose magazine. His articles are really great and his knowledge in pretty much unparalleled. Any fan of the show should pick this up. Although note that it does not contain anything about The Return within it due to its age.
