Had another voporetti machine in the past and it was excellent. this one is good but not as good. It holds more water but I feel the end result is not as good.Would still recommend.

Love my Polti!
This is a great steam cleaner as long as you have reasonable expectations. I use it to clean everything. Yes, sometimes it spits at first but only til the steam gets going. I always have a rag on hand to absorb the initial spitting. Mopping with it not my favorite use as the mopping attachments must be used with some care. Holds about 25 oz. of water and lasts a reasonable length of time. There is a long wait to cool down before refilling, but that’s for safety. All in all better quality than others steamers. Definitely recommend.

I’ll never go without a Polti
I had an earlier versions of this Polti that lasted years before it but the big one. I did a bit of looking around at multi-purpose steamers before deciding that I would purchase another Polti. Once again, this is a quality steamer! You can clean anything you can think of with this machine. I love that it has a huge water tank—we just built a home with almost all tile flooring, and I can steam clean the great room without refilling. The floors come out squeaky clean with no streaks. I can sanitize an entire bathroom from top to bottom using less than one tank of water—and let’s be honest, if you have boys in your household, you NEED a steamer in your life for around the toilet. 100% worth every penny.

Junk! Several issues. Don't buy this if you're trying to solve a bug problem.
I purchased this despite the fact that it didn't have many reviews because I saw it recommended on a site for bed bugs. First off, if you're looking for a steam mop - then this will do the job. If you're looking for a heavy-duty steamer with lots of high heat - look elsewhere. It does not maintain the 212 degrees needed to kill bugs instantly (even though their fact sheet for bed bugs says it does). I used my thermal point and shoot thermometer with different attachments, in different conditions, etc. The steam temperature was inconsistent (as was the pressure). In some instances, the steam was barely above 100 degrees (I understand that the tank reaches a much higher temperature, but something happens to it from there to the tip of the nozzle). When I used this on a mattress (using the recommended attachment) and going so slow my arm hurt later, the bed bugs laughed and kept on about their merry way. Some of them I shot directly with the heat for 30 seconds or more multiple times. Nothing.2nd issue: it sprays water everywhere when starting the steamer and certain attachments drip water while using them and become soaked (and soak everything else in the process).3rd issue: It does not last for a full hour as the literature states.4th issue: You can't tell how much water is in the tank. It is very precise in that it can only hold 54 ounces. Let's say it's completely empty and you put in 54 ounces, work for a while and decide to shut it off and come back later. How much water is left? How much longer will it go? You have no idea because there is no gauge. Adding to the frustration is that once you start it and use it, you have to wait for the unit to cool off and the pressure to release before you can open the valve and put more water in it. Not a quick process.5th issue: It does not heat up in 8 minutes. More like 20 minutes.Disappointed. Would not recommend.

Loved it.
Love love love. It's so great for cleaning just about anything. You do have to let the water spray out for about 45 seconds to a minute to get started but besides that it works amazing.
