I am extremely irritated over this purchase. I ordered this GLASS teacup (as it is advertised) for a friend who lives in another state. After talking to her about it come to find out it’s PLASTIC and it is quite a bit smaller than it shows in the pictures. I’m not sure why this happened but it’s not a good quality gift for a good friend who lives out of state, because I can’t even return it.

danger warning- as cute as these are over time they are dangerous my mom was making tea and poured the hot water into this cup and it exploded into glass pieces and the hot water burned her hand we had to take her hospital for degree burns, these cups are not real glass and are plastic, beware...

This cup is adorable-- perfect to give to someone you love. It is also fairly dainty...the glass is thin and it is light so it will require more care than the mugs we have. I wish it was a few ounces larger as it only holds about 8 ounces of liquid. Valentines Day is coming and this would make anyone's heart melt.

I purchased these as a present, but I opened the box to check them out. I was concerned because one of the reviews said theirs were made of plastic. I took a chance, and the ones I received were definitely glass. They feel a bit fragile, but they're very cute. The cups come wrapped with bubble wrap inside a box, and that goes inside Amazon's standard (not so great) packaging, so I don't think they'll break in transit. The spoons they come with are cute as well. The recipient of this gift was really happy with it, so I think these make a nice gift.

It is absolutely adorable with Fred’s cat tea steeper. It’s a perfect size, a bit fragile but fun to drink out of. One thing that was a little bothersome is that the picture of it looks like there is a red heart at the bottom that isn’t there. I think it must be teas to make it look like that. None-the-less, certainly worth having!

Order the cups as a birthday present, and we've used them every day since opened. I do think they keep liquids a tad warmer than a usual cup of this size, probably due to the double-chamber. The liquid really does fill the cup exactly as advertised into heart shape, and it's adorable! I think the bamboo spoons were included not because they're worried metal spoons will break the glass, but instead because metal spoons might *scratch* the glass. This isn't confirmed though, just a hunch from using other glassware for mixing bowls that is now scratched from constant use. As other reviewers noted the glass of the cups is really thin. So far I am not worried about breaking (many china tea cups are much more delicate) but they do make the cups surprisingly light.

I bought this for my mom and she loves it! She has this thing about seeing the drink in her cup, she finds it really fun so she's enjoying this cup. It was delivered in great time and wasn't damaged and so far everything is great especially the detail of the heart shape inside. I haven't washed it in a dishwasher yet only by hand but I have high hopes because everything else is high quality.

These weren't bad. Wish they were a little larger and not clear. Heart shape isn't even noticeable with the clear glass.
