All Natural Vanilla Powder (1 ounce)

This is a terrible product. Do NOT order it. It has no flavor whatsoever. There is zero evidence that the dark powdery substance is connected to the Vanilla plant. We found it to be, CONSEQUENTLY, quite scary. WHAT is this stuff? The packaging is lovely, professional looking and matches the photo exactly. It even is made to re-seal. BUT, the CONTENTS! Oh, my goodness. I read the other reviews, and I have concluded that we must have received something very old or..... We tried it in coffee. NO hint of vanilla. We tried it in MILK. Nothing. There is not even the faintest odor of vanilla detected by the five folks that I asked to sniff it. We are a household of "foodies." We were not looking for an overwhelmingly strong vanilla taste or odor in a natural product. The package we got is an the "Emperor/s New Clothes" category....all talk with zero substance.

I use real vanilla beans in everything and usually grind the left over pods up myself afterwards. This is nothing at all like the fragrance and flavor I achieve doing this myself. It is like they took out all the bean guts, let the pods dry out and then ground them up. The equivalent to old coffee bean smell vs new coffee bean smell. Very dissapointed and am returning.

Tastes old and not really like vanilla! It looks like ground up whole vanilla bean, including the indigestible outer cover of the bean, not the inside of the bean you would normally use in whole vanilla, and the pouch didn't really keep it fresh anyway.

I am not sure what I got but there was no flavor to this product at all. I have a very sensitive nose and could not detect even a hint of vanilla. I thought maybe if I cooked it into something it would bring out the flavor. So I put it in my oatmeal. It still tasted exactly like plain oatmeal. Was very excited to make healthy homemade oatmeal jars for my girls and have some yummy vanilla flavor added but that isn't going to happen with this product.

I have ordered vanilla bean powder in the past and thought this would be a comparable product with a better price - I was wrong. Upon opening the package I was immediately disappointed by the aroma - was not the sweet vanilla smell I was expecting. The powder looked dry as they most likely powdered up the pod as well as the vanilla beans. Not what I was expecting and will now have to buy a different product. Save yourself the trouble and just get the more expensive option!

ב"הI'm not big on alcohol so even though I can get organic vanilla extract, I prefer the powder. When I use this powder, 1/4 teaspoon of the powder seems to have the "power" of about 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. The flavor of the powder comes out nicely even when combining flavors (like lemon or blueberry, for example).

They are a super nice company. My first package arrived damaged. They sent replacement even after Amazon refunded me. The packaging is a little fragile but they said they are working on new packaging. Tried product this morning. Awesome!!! Stirred it into my cold pressed coffee and almond milk. For a super healthy vanilla latte. You feel texture it doesn't dissolve but it's so healthy and yummy. Vanilla is super good for you without the usual accompanying chemicals. Yay. To good health .

I use this for multiple reasons. I use it to add a light vanilla scent and exfoliation to my all natural soaps and for flavor in my coffee. It works well for both purposes especially love the vanilla taste in my coffee without having the artificial/saccharine taste of other vanilla products. You can see in my pumpkin soap that the vanilla layer is a speckled brown color
