I’ve ordered this multiple times in preemie and Amazon keeps sending me newborn size so, I’ll never know how it actually looks/functions on a baby because I give up now. However the outfit is adorable and feels soft.Update: I took a chance and ordered Preemie again and they finally sent me the right size! Preemie sized…with what looks like a black grease stain on the foot (photo attached). So, back it goes yet again.I’m beginning to wonder if the universe just REALLY doesn’t want our kid to wear this as their going home outfit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

These are the sweetest going home outfits. Very unisex and simple. I actually saw them on Amazon first, later that day I was shopping at babies R us and purchased newborn size there. When I got home, I noticed they were quite large for newborns. My first child was 6 lbs, his newborn going home outfit drowned him. So, I decided to return the newborn size to the store and purchase the preemie size from Amazon. Not huge difference, but I really think the preemie is more suitable for bringing home a newborn in. I took a couple of photos of the two sizes together for reference. First photo, preemie on the left , second photo preemie top of newborn. Just be careful on deciding when you think your baby will wearing this. The newborn size is very wide also. I think the newborn sizes maybe meant for much larger babies (over 10 lbs). I just love the outfit! Very adorable and well made.
