Smithwick's StingMate Jellyfish Sting Neutralizing Spray Gel

In Puerto Rico I got stung, my kids got stung. Sprayed it on and pain immediately went away, like 1 second later went from complete pain to pain freedom. Saw a little girl crying on the beach, parents had tried pee and a bunch of other local nonsense remedies (including some aloe leaf) that clearly failed to resolve the pain for this crying 4 year old, she had been crying like 15 minutes. I walked up, and gave her one squirt from this bottle and she stopped crying immediately. The stuff works very well. Its amazing. After you spray it and neutralize the jellyfish cells, use a credit card to gently scrape off cells so they don’t reactivate.I see reviews here that say it doesn’t. Maybe you did something wrong??? Like keep it in a locked car in hot temperatures where it became boiling hot inside the car and it destroyed the chemicals?? I don’t know. What I can say is for me & several people I sprayed it worked like a miracle.

Being a mom that lives near the beach and has kids with little to no impulse control, I always have treatments for stings around. I've tried a few of these that work and some that don't at all. I had hopes for this one since I hadn't tried it but when the bottle arrived much to my disappointment I saw that it just has acidic acid (vinegar) and menthol. I've tried similar products with the same active ingredients and only made my kids' stings worse. Do your research people!

Love this product! As a diver I was hit by a jelly fish a week ago all along one arm. I exited the water and sprayed my entire arm with the product. The stinging stopped within a couple of minutes. None of the additional venom was released after I washed to area. Promptly ordered two more bottles.

I buy this every year to take to the beach. I used to get it at the grocery store by our condo but when they quit selling it I found it on Amazon. Takes the sting right out, Reduses the swelling.

I purchased this for my child's summer camp. The camp director is very happy with it and states that it works. The lifeguards carry a vinegar solution but it doesn't help much. She has used it on several jellyfish stings and the kiddos say it works fast too. I was also impressed with how fast it arrived given it's not prime eligible.

Would give this no star if possible. Did not work!!!! Dont waste your money. Today we were at the beach and both of my kids were stong. We applied as instructed and didnt work. Kids would not stop crying do to the pain. Very very upset customer.

We bought this because o7r daughter got stung by jelly fish. It works great, because, we havent got stung since we boughtbit.
