Another good story in this series.
When Briggs first meets Bristol it felt like she was the one after just one kiss but fate intervened and he ended up furious. She didnt tell him she wasnt quite eighteen and when her brother caught them he immediately traded him from his hockey team. Briggs had to start again with a new team and when he was at a dinner four years later he was shocked to see her again. He tried really hard to stay away from her but the heart wants what the heart wants and when they came together sparks flew. There were problems to overcome and fate had placed him with a team that he loved, he just needed to sort out him living in Charleston and her business in New York.

Must Read
Loved Briggs and Bristol! After getting a tiny glimpse at the end of Sterling's book just I knew Briggs's was going to be amazing! When Briggs first realises that it's Bristol walking across the stage he thinks he must be seeing things! He hasn't seen Bristol for 4 years, the last time he saw her it didn't end well!Bristol and Briggs were hot and fiery from the very first page! Loved being back with my Repears, just like being back with family. Eagerly awaiting Caz's story next!

Cormac & Bristol
Briggs was an enjoyable read, but felt rushed and things were brushed aside just so the main characters could have sex yet again. Cormac held a lot of anger about what happened 4 years ago, but this is never fully discussed or dealt with. Bristol also somehow thinks tricking Cormac into signing a contract with her new company is the best way to make up for what happened in the past. So much of the story just isn't there and there's a lot of character and plot development missing. This book has the bones to make a brilliant read, but it missed the mark and I came away disappointedI'm really not sure what's happening with the author as the series started off so well and had me hooked, but something went wrong with Sterling and then Briggs also doesn't compare to the earlier books. I've read a review that suggests Samantha Whiskey could actually be more than one author or someone who uses ghostwriters and maybe this is the case as to why the last two books haven't been as good. Or maybe the drop is due to the author releasing so many books so quickly and perhaps taking more time with each book would help. I'm not sure what the reason is, but I'm going to stick with the series and hope the next book is betterDon't get me wrong though, I enjoyed this book enough to read it all in one sitting and I was obviously able to finish it unlike Sterling. It just needed more development and plot.*I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book

Second chance romance.
Griggs and Bristol have a past encounter that led to him being traded. He still holds a lot of animosity towards her but, underneath that runs some seriously hot chemistry!

Great as always
I love the Reaper family, the jokes and relationships. Briggs and Bristol, are definitely all ship shaped and Bristol fashion. All good and efficiently arranged.

Cormac Briggs is 10/10
Samantha does it again!Perfect sports romance.Hot hockey player Cormac ✔️Intelligent and bad a$$ heroine Bristol ✔️So much spicy sass and chemistry, this book is so good. As always the only problem with her books are that I read them in a day because I can’t put them down and then the blurb from the next one leaves me wanting to read it desperately!

Finding forgiveness
I'm a huge fan of this series and the author. Without giving away a lot, you do have to put your common sense on hold slightly (because really, the whole age thing was a little over the top) but the relationship between Briggs and Bristol is terrific. My favorite line was Briggs saying that "he was the adult version of Disneyland". I understand his anger but she was very naïve to think a contract was going to make it all better. Still, a great story in a fun series.

4.5 Stars
I love Samantha Whiskey’s books. They are instant buys for me. That said, while good, this book was not my favourite of hers. They can’t all be, though. :-)

So good!
This surprise new release is a definite must read! Briggs and Bristol has a history that he didn’t want to relieve, but he is in for a surprise of his life when she makes a comeback. What happens next was fun, sweet, hot and more. I loved Bristol’s character she is tough with all the responsibilities in her position, but she finds herself in an emotional situation with Briggs and their past that she keeps apologizing for. Their journey wasn’t easy, but the outcome was so worth the wait. I loved their chemistry, connection and banter that kept me entertained.
