Nexcare Acne Absorbing Covers Assorted, 36 Count, Pack of 3

I am using these patches for the purpose of scar-free healing after doing some mole, blemish and age spot removal on my face, utilizing the zapping tools and numbing skin cream I ordered on Amazon. These patches work so well to keep the skin smooth and preventing hard scabs from forming where I burned off the spots.I had originally given 3 stars (original review below) because I was annoyed that it seemed sub par in quality to other more expensive brands, and that night after giving a mediocre review I felt a pimple coming up on my face so for the first time I used it for what it is actually made to do, which is work on drying up the pimples that have surfaced or or that you can feel coming on the skin.I put a patch on a spot that felt sore with a oil bump that I can tell is going to surface itself in a day or so and over night, and the patch had absorbed the oil through the top layer of my skin and the pimples were no longer “active” feeling and left behind a drier and harder feeling residue of a grain that I was able to rub off gently. I was very happy with it and then felt like I needed to update the 3 star review 😅.Yes, I still think these are not as good as some as some of the other brands that cover well for wearing them out for work or school but as far as function, they work beautifully especially for being 1/3 the price of others, so the are definitely worth the price. I will use these brands for overnight and the days I stay home (like the current stay home order. LOL), and use the more expensive and taper-edged brands for when I have to go out and hide the healing scars or blooming active pimples.————————————————-(Original review I gave 3 star review for)I just received these and I am disappointed with how yellow the patches were that I immediately checked for the expiration date because I thought they were old. The surface texture of the patches did not look or feel skin-like in appearance like the better quality brand I have been using. They are also not beveled on the edges so the patches do not lay perfectly flat around the edges against my skin to blend in so not only is it not discreet looking because of the yellow-y color, it also has somewhat a shiny tape like surface appearance. Are these silicon? I was hoping these are like Medifoam silicon patches which is absolutely invisible when you put it on your skin and I was excited when I saw these because they were almost 1/3 of the price... but of course you get what you pay for...Oh well, I guess the good thing is that we are in lockdown and since I won’t be goin our anyways, I don’t have to worry about it showing on my skin.

I've been using these for two years and they're amazing. My acne clears up so much faster with these and they keep me from picking at my acne, so I'm no longer scarring.

Quite effective. These packages are getting pricy though

By far the best acne patches I've ever come across. Wish I had known about these when I was in highschool going through puberty. They don't act as a medicated patch but rather a sponge to suck out the pus. I've been using these for a while now and they work amazing on pimples that are filled with pus and help me not to pick at my face when I am stressed and see any little poppable thing. They sometimes work on black heads since the pore is open, but at least for me they wont work on white heads. I have even used it on bug bites, and this little cyst looking thing I had and it sucked it right out. I only use them at night so that it's not noticeable, but they blend in really well on your skin so you really can't tell.The only down fall is sometimes when I'm trying to put them on they will pull right back up on my finger, I just have to wash my face and put them on wherever I need to before putting on lotion or anything else. Otherwise it sticks all night even though I have really oily skin.Love these, you won't regret buying.

For an overnight(one-time) application I find they work best for whiteheads or pustules. They are my go-to! But for bigger bumps or cysts you're going to need to be diligent and apply these patches for several consecutive days. Even then it's not guaranteed to work on cystic acne.I recommend not applying any moisturizer near the trouble area since the patches won't stick well. You will wake up in the morning to discover the patches migrated to random parts of your face or pillow. So I assume it won't stick on very oily skin either.In the attached photoset, I used a patch on a small pustule by my nose. Over a clean face. Overnight the patch absorbed all the gunk. While the area was still red, at least it was flattened! The skin was really moist after I peeled off the patch but it dried down. I end up using another patch the next night to prevent my hands from touching the area but it worked really well!This isn't some miracle worker that gets rid of all bumps and redness but it's great at shortening the lifespan of a pimple. And for the people that like to pick at their pimples, these patches might help you avoid touching any pimple.Also, you can wear makeup over these but just be aware that it's pretty obvious you have a patch on. But it helps if you want to wear makeup but not have any of those products directly touching your acne.

I bought a pack of these as an alternative to the Cosrx ones I've been using for a few years. I like the Cosrx ones well enough, but there's a lot of fakes floating around. I figured the Nexcare would be good and more reliable to buy. I do like these. They're a little thicker than the Cosrx red packet ones, but seem to work fine. These come in two sizes, rather than three, but it seems to be fine with the mix they come in. They adhere well and stay on as long as your skin is clean and has no products at all on it -- put them on after cleansing and before you put any other skin care on. These are more yellow than the Cosrx, so might work better if you have a darker skin tone than fair Caucasian -- even then, they're unobtrusive. I won't wear them outside if they're in a very visible part of my face, but I don't do that with other brands, either. They're fine if my hair covers them. Like all of the silicone acne patches, these absorb the sebum/fluid from pimples and acne and keep the area clean and hygienic. This really helps the spot heal well and quickly. They work especially well on those painful zits that seem "weepy" (gross, sorry). I now always use a pimple patch when I have a spot that needs help with healing. I believe I've avoided some scarring because of these. Love them and will likely repurchase this brand/type again.

These little “dots” are the perfect addition to our skincare routines. You still have to clean your skin prior to using. They work wonders especially as we are all battling that terrible “mask-acne”. They are discrete so you can also wear one while out running errands or working during the day.
