AMAZING stand!!!!!
This STand exceeded all of my expectations!!! It is extremely solid and sturdy! The packaging is really well thought and put together to give the amateur customer the comfort in knowing they can actually put this together by themselves! I did this in about 1 hour while my kid was napping! Instructions are super easy to follow. It comes with extra hardware in case you lose some. Screws are different shapes for different parts so you can't get them mixed up. I feel like they gave this to someone like me to put together and took notes of all the difficulties this person could run into and fixed them all! The stand is super tall too! My Tv actually stays about 5 ft from the ground. the tray is super sturdy and will hold any other media devide you want to put on it! I also like how you can choose how high or low you want the tray to be based on how high or low your tv is set on the stand. I like the little hole in the back of one of the tubes where you can hide the tv cord. THe stand slides smoothly which is great for my needs! I wanted the tv to face the playroom, but also be able to turn it around so it faces my workout area when i want to get a video workout in. All in all, excellent buy, excellent value for the money and on Prime shipping, you really can't beat it! a true professional stand in the comfort of my home :DUPDATE: 1 year later and the stand is still holding as strong and as sturdy as when i first put it together! So happy with this purchase!

Additional info to help you choose a stand and set up your TV with a DVD
First of all, I want to comment that the picture quality of this TV is excellent but the design leaves a few things to be desired. That being said, I am going to give the TV a 5 star rating, anyway because there are easy fixes to the design problems. Let's start with what stand should you buy. Here is the one I bought and it fits perfectly plus it is SOLID - https://www.amazon.com/Husky-Mobile-Wheels-Universal-Rolling/dp/B01H67NU60/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1505625019&sr=8-1&keywords=husky+mount+mobile+tv+stand. If you are not sure which TV stand to buy, this one is a good choice. It is a little big overall but then you don't want you circa $300 TV tipping over. We are talking heavy duty, solid, here.Next lets talk about problems you might encounter in trying to hook up your DVD player. First of all, the various stands of this nature are all going to block on of the two HDMI ports. If you use a TV stand you now you only have one to use and you would like to have two - one for your TV to connect to your cable box and one for your TV to connect to your DVD. No problem. Simply buy this item https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074BZ2L6Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and you now have your two HDMI ports. Don't forget to buy your extra HDMI cables - you will need a total of THREE of them if you want to hook up your DVD and still use this stand. The second issue I want to cover is what do you do if your DVD does not have an HDMI port. What if it only has composite - R-W-Y input jacks as so many of them do. No problem. Here is what you are going do. Sony gives you the two audio jacks - i.e. the R and W input jacks - so that issue is not a problem. You have audio. The video is a bit tricky. You get a yellow 3.5 mini-jack and a dedicated cable to plug into this jack. Once plugged in, you now have your three female component jacks - R-G-B. You still, however, do not have your yellow video RCA jack. What to do? The solution is simple. You plug your yellow (Y) cable coming out from your DVD (which has R-W-Y jacks) into the GREEN jack of this specialized cable which Sony has provided for you. To repeat, YELLOW goes to GREEN. Now you are fine. Now you have audio and video for your DVD. If you plug your YELLOW into any other port i.e. the red or the blue one, you will get a black and white picture.Be aware that the R (red) jack for this specialized cable is NOT the same as the red jack for the audio system which you have become accustomed to i.e. your R-W audio jacks. They are different animals. These two input jacks - both red - are NOT interchangeable. So, the bottom line is that this TV is a good one to order BUT, if you intend to put it on a rolling stand, you need to order the HDMI switch which I noted above and you need to order TWO addition HDMI cables. These switching systems always take a total of three cables.Fortunately these extra items are not especially expensive. If you are spending this much money for your TV, simply go ahead and order the other items you need. If you are NOT putting your TV on a stand but rather setting it up on a table, then, you will have two HDMI ports without buying the switch box.One other comment is that the cables do not know what color they are. The cables are all the same regardless of color. The difference is in the wiring of the input jacks on the piece of equipment. If you have any questions, email me at [email protected]

well designed, strong stand - updated
when i purchased this mount there were no reviews, but it was the lowest priced, so i am very glad to report how impressed i am with this rolling stand. upon opening the box, everything was perfectly organized for easy assembly, heavy duty steel, precision construction (beautiful welds), perfectly aligned holes and attention to every detail the customer would face in assembly and use. we were mounting our 88 lb., 60" plasma and this rolling stand is solid as can be. we're seniors and lifting the tv onto the stand was our most difficult part, but we managed ok. the excellent instructions were simple to follow and it includes assembly tools (except a needed phillips screwdriver), plus it included a variety of mounting screws to fit different tv's and even a built in leveling bubble. the finished stand, with tv mounted is very sturdy and rolls perfectly. well done, whatever company you are that made this, you really did think of everything. hope you keep the price low.since the tv is also our computer monitor, this stand has added a new dimension to my tv watching. when i'm watching alone, i pull it up insanely close to my recliner and it's incredibly awesome, but then, so easy to roll back and position for less selfish viewing. i'm serious, i'm am loving me some rolling tv stand right now. very pleased.-------------------------------------------------------------------------when i purchased this stand a few weeks ago, the price was much lower. the price is now forty dollars higher.

Glad I spent the extra $20-$30.
Excellent product. I purchased this unit after reading several reviews of similar stands where customers consistently complained about cheap design and difficult assembly. I was almost tempted to buy one of them since they were all $20-$30 cheaper but I'm really glad I didn't. The instructions were easy and each piece was sturdy and clearly marked. My 60" Vizio TV had no problem securing to the brackets and all of the holes aligned perfectly with the available hardware. I gave it 4 stars versus 5 for two minor reasons. There was one incorrect number identified for one of the spacers which I didn't wind up using anyway because I used two extra washers instead to get a proper fit and the wheels could be a bit larger given the size of the overall unit. Overall I would definitely recommend this stand over taking a chance on cheaper stands with holes not lining up.
