Works on an Oster blender
No one could or would answer the question I had about this regarding the diameter of the tamper. I ran across a Vitamix sales rep who said this wouldn't work with an Oster blender. For everyone out there: This fits through the opening on an Oster blender, but it is about a half inch long, and stops between the blades. This is the short one. If you tamp with this straight down, it'll work.

it wouldn't have splintered like it did
The plunger is just a tad too big to be convenient. The first time I used a paddle it hit the blade and shattered inside the container and I had to throw away my smoothie mixture. If they were not so rigid, it wouldn't have splintered like it did. Must allow for user error.So do not use the paddles while the blade is spinning.
