Q: Is this certified by Underwriters Laboratory?

No it is not. Nor is it sturdy. It feels like a cheep piece on junk. 3 of the plastic faces have fallen off of mine in less than a year. Im afraid to keep using it.

Q: I just bought this - the plugs don’t fit all the way in the outlets and fall out easily. Is this an issue for anyone else? Am I missing something?

Some plugs are tight; don't be shy. Force them in all the way. They will fit tightly and securely. It will not bend the plugs. It's tight enough that my AA battery charger can suspend sideways without problems. If you don't force those tight plugs in all the way, they will easily fall out. Personally, I consider this a feature and I'm grateful for it. The tower isn't weighted at the base so tugging things can knock the tower over by accident pretty easily. All of the plugs stay secure while I stand it back up.

I’m the dummy here and not sure of the terminology you use; all I know is that this product works fine in my NYC apartment (it’s a 100 yr old building) where there simply aren’t the usual number of outlets in each room . As my place was brought up to date over the (decades; I wanna say centuries!)) they did as little as possible. It’s standard modern US though. Dunno if this is helpful to you or not!
